  1. They do sell plenty of other nissan bodykits but they didnt seem to have a clue on the stagea i even offered to try and setup a group buy of 5-10 but they didnt really want to know about it. Oh and yes 100% fibreglass
  2. Series 1 or 2 each to thier own i say some people love r33's some despise them thats what make the import scene so great is diversity i chose my car for the color and the parts it had on if it were a s1 would i have bought it most likely yes and yes i have 2 sunroofs Oh and i live in small central victorian town with one set of traffic lights so stand stills aren't really a problem up here but shit loads of long boring str8's to drive along.
  3. Thanx for the reply will give them a call was in negotiations with sinex to do a remould of mine but they would not do it under 100 units which would be enough to equip just about every stagea in australia
  4. I got a stagea with a 260rs bodykit on it,it has been fairly banged up by the previous owner due to the car being rediculously low and was wondering if anyone in melbourne could do the repairs and also maybe take some moulds of it if any other SAU members wanted a a copy of it.
  5. Do blits have a shop in melbourne do you know? Because im pathetic i bought a series 2 Why cos i love the grille over the s1 and for the better fuel economy and torque of the NEO. Im looking to kit my 260rs kit repaired in melbourne and currently in negotiations with sinex to repair it i was thinking if there would be enough interest in purchasing these i would let them take a mould of it and let them sell them would there be any interest from any members here for this? The kit would be off the car anyway as long as it didnt cost me any s to have them made im happy to let them do it if someone could point me in the right direction of a shop that would be interested that may be of help.

  8. Ok so my car is at the compliancers now so i took the chance to go have a look at since there wasn't any photo's of it taken in japan my main question is the dash inserts and doorhandle inserts all of them are carbon fibre i wanna know if this is a dayz factory option that came with a dayz kitted car or are they aftermarket the car now has a 260rs kit on it just wanna know if origanally it was a dayz edition kitted car? Any info would be very helpful
  9. Ive spoken to my local lpg guy who has had alot to do with hi-po lpg setups he says $5000 is not uncommon these days there are a number of different ways you can do it one suggestion he made was str8 gas with the original injectors still in place firing water or methanol and having dedicated gas injectors as well. He also says the biggest prob is getting the tanks to flow enough but you can get around that if the car is already registered you can use an old style tank wihtout the lock off valve but come resale time or roadworthy inspections you would have to change tanks. He says support for 300kw is easily acheivable obviously dependent on your engine however to do this upgraded ignition system is needed and full aftermarket computer such as power fc and/or microtech. For those in victoria id recommend this guy he has done alot of work in the hotrod scene with some of my dads mates getting big numbers with supercharged v8 systems. Give him a call he is always willing to give valuable info the workshop also has dyno services so can be tuned onsite as well. Daylesford is located about 1hr 20min from melbourne up the ballarat hwy. Howe Automotive Daylesford 03 5348 2389 Albert

  14. http://www.tradecarview.com/ Hey juggler have a look through this site this will give you an idea of whats available from japan and prices and such then you can use the import calculator from sites such as prestige motorsport this will give you a ROUGH idea of what your up for in terms of cost. Im in the middle of importing my s2 stag i picked it up from japan with the help of Iron Chef Imports who is a member of these forums i gave him a list of specs i wanted and he sent me photo's and auction sheets of nearly 100 diff cars b4 i picked the one i ended up buying. Give Kristian from iron chef a call (0402904069) he is top bloke and will help you out with the 1 million questions you have just like he did for me. This is my car and is on the boat cuurntly and due to arrive on the 15th of this month
  15. Spotted a white stag thursday night near Arden st sounded tough had a sticker on the back window that said "damstr8".
  16. u can pick these up from many places now depending on which state your in Vic- ekw SA-adelaide jap nsw-SSS automotive qld-rolin imports Or pick up a copy of HPI or Zoom theres always ads in there for import wreckers
  17. UPDATE: Car is on the boat and due for arrival on the 15th of june once it clears customs it will be booked in for compliance at kamikazee then i will take delivery of the beast getting really excited now and cant wait to see it in the flesh.
  18. Ok thanx for the help boys car already has HKS fmic, exhaust, pod and tein fully adjustable suspension dunno on the electronics side of it as yet have to wait to paperwork clears to access to it for more photo's. Basicly i was wanting to know if the turbo would flow that much and obviously it doesn't so my to do list will be fuel pump and injectors and see where that puts me then turbo later. Will gtr injectors and fuel pump fit in the NEO i will assume not but i can only ask. And as for brakes i see there is a thread for front brakes but nothing for the rear so does that mean the rears are already good enough or nobody has bothered to do them. What is easier to fit GTR or r33 GTST brakes my old man is pretty handy with the spanners just dont need headaches thats all. Oh and tangles why only the exhaust cam wheel wouldnt doing both inlet and exhaust be more effeicient
  19. So r u saying that all i will need is fuel pump and injectors to get my target figure will the stock turbo flow enough to get it there and at what psi
  20. As i wait for my stag to come from japan i am reading every part of this forum and TRYING to absorb all of the info within it,firstly there is alot of info about the rb25 but not so much on the neo. Ive started to jot down some ideas on the mods and path this car will take once it gets here but what i need is NEO specifics. I will be aiming for around 200-230awkw the info i am chasing is safe limits not breaking points of hardware within the NEO engine so i can get a better idea of what is going to need to be replaced i'll try make it simple format so you can answer easier if i can have answer in safe limit KW not breaking points would be great. 1.Standard neo turbo 2.injectors 3.fuel pump 4.manifolds 5.pistons/rods Any thing else that may hinder my target that i haven't mentioned keep in mind that the car already has fmic, pod and exaust and as far as i know the rest is stock i will assume anyway.
  21. My mate is upgrading his turbo off his xr6 and has offered it to me for my stagea when it gets here, does anyone know what make up they are ive heard gt35 mentioned somewhere but cant find much info on it. Would it fit the rb25 neo with the aid of an adaptor and what sort of power are they rated for and would be a lag monster on an a 2.5 litre as they were designed for a 4.0 litre. Any help would be great
  22. I found this dunno if its related but it is listed as a air conditioning condensor part if someone can translate the jap writing might be useful http://www.cnautoparts.com/A12-Air%20compr...SC%20condenser/
  23. My mrs has a series 1 r31 N/A rb30 auto it sits on 2500 rpm at 100km/h but it goes hard of the line so i did some checking the auto came out with a 4.44 diff centre compared to 3.9/4.11 for the manual. So on take off the auto is comparable to a manual but once you get high in the rev range the auto cannot pull back the manual becuase the manual has the lower diff ratio it can pull more km per rpm. Look to the salt lake racers all of them would be running 2.7 diff ratios but it takes them 1.6 km to get up to speed. Rod hadfiled has built a commodore that does over 400km/h it is a salt lake racer has huge hp but its all in the diff ratio rear box ratio and try diameter. http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculato...p?action=submit This is a handy app to use the above to calculate your tyre diameter then fill in the rest this is obviously not concrete but rough guide if you play with it you see the differences in diff ratio and try size play in top speed http://www.dennysdriveshaft.com/html/poten...calculator.html Gear ratios can be found here http://carizma.com.au/Pages/Details%20-%20...e%20-%20R33.htm
  24. Just read the stroy in HPI of gtr brake upgrade this is the explanation it gives of brake shudder Qoute"In a nutshell if your getting feedback through the steering wheel and suspension when you brake at certain speeds and pressures, then you are experiancing what is known as brake shudder,This feedback can range from a faint vibration that is barely noticeable,to a series of shakes that are so bad they feel violent enough to almost rip the wheel from your hands. It doesnt matter if your on the track or the street, because it is caused by an uneven build up of pad materieal on the surface of the rotors. It is agrrravated by the high temps of the track and by the switching back and forth between two incompatible friction materials. It should also be pointed out that the shudder is the result of a thickness variation in pad build up on the rotor surface and not the popular myth that it is caused by warped rotors."end quote Hope this helps somewhat there is also a very good guide to bedding in brakes and pads but to much for me to re-type here i suggest everyone grabs a copy and has a read for themselves some very good info in there. The article also gives Hawk pads the big thumbs up for pads i read somewhere else on these forums that they make str8 swap pads for stageas so this may be of note to those needing to upgrade soon.
  25. Thankyou getting closer to the answer i am after will both setups make the same amount of power all else being equal in other words will be twins make the same power but just get there quicker is what i want to know
