Ex armour hey steve ...... leopards? ....aslavs?.......Bradleys? Yes i will agree with you steve, the list of "fun" never ends... and just when you think its all good the brass find another way to dick you around or shaft you.

BEEN THERE ... DONE THAT... Add 30kg+ of gear on your shoulders, 1200 rounds, light machine gun, spare barrels and all the crap ..... and not just in this country...... most leaches in one river crossing to date is 16.

In the morning Enrico. Yeah the pic's not bad hey Nightcrawler, Its the Australian Army special forces guys having fun. Yeah dont be afraid to come in and say hello, im usually there most mornings.
-
I think i saw you the other day Enrico passing the caltex at ingle farm on bridge road, i work at the caltex, if you see the silver 33 there you know im working.
-
What is the address for their web site?
-
Yeah i suppose i could bl4ck32, i am keen and do like the features of the wolf and if it worked maybe other people would go that direction, was actually hoping that someone on this forum may have had some experience with mre but obviously not, i dont know anyone else that has.

Power FC sounds like the tried and proven way each time the ecu argument arises.........
-
So where would one get a Microtech LT16, RPM performance centre i suppose, might have to give them a ring
-
LT16 has closed loop as far as you know hey, very interesting.......hmmmmm. Might have to do a bit of research on this LT16, Yeah i figured tuning would be around that mark, thanks mate, much appreciated.

I dont suppose anyone has had their car tuned at mildren race engineering? the local wolf dealer/tuner here. Just wanted to know if their capable of doing any tuning on a skyline regardless of ecu. I have a map from steve sst in WA to suit a wolf equipped r33 with similar mods to mine, i would assume that they could "trim the edges" of this map to suit my car but the end result will all come down to how good the tuner is and this is why im asking first. Any comments or should i just go the power fc or microtech route because i know the tuners in Adelaide are capable with these two?
-
Whatsisname, i have read about your experiences with your lt12 and was really tempted, the only thing that bothered me is that it is does not have closed loop, how is your fuel usage? Also what did tim at rpm charge you to tune it? does it have good drivability?

Stopping Your BOV From Leaking - A How To
snake replied to Jay95R33's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Boostd, in your first post you said the dodge method decreases part throttle to full throttle boost up time, in your second it said increases part throttle to full throttle boost up time, i assume you mean the latter. -
Steve, tried to get your email but was told by the server that you also did not wish to recieve e-mail, how do you turn that bloody option off, tried to on my cp but still doesnt seem to make a difference, anyway heres my email if you manage to get another chance to send that map buckey@mail.visp.com.au Thanks Steve Does anyone here know Steve's email?
-
Thanks guys, yeah i do think that the power fc boost controller is a little on the expensive side, also considered that another type of boost controller maybe just as good if not better for the money.
-
Thanks mate that would be great, a rough map would do fine as im sure the wolf dealer/tuner is capable of "trimming the edges" to suit my car, if needs be. Does anybody over in WA stick with the AFM option, or is the difference not that noticable to bother. Not fussed either way myself though.

I am hoping to purchase the wolf 3d plugin for my r33 here in Adelaide however not real confident in the wolf dealer/tuner here as his work is mainly (nearly all) with rotaries. Hoping, as you WA guys seem to have great results with the wolf, that someone may be able to send me a map to suit the similar mods that i have done (or will have done by the time the wolf goes in) to use with my car. I have heard of the great work that Steve SST has done and if he or anyone else could help that would be great . Cheers. R33 gtst series 2 3 inch turbo back exhaust 600x300x75 front mount intercooler pod filter in cold air box would like to run around 12-13 psi with the wolf.

Having trouble deciding which one to go with so it has come down to this. Is there anyone else who can tune the wolf 3d other than mildrens, someone who may be more skyline orientated. If there is i may go with the wolf however if there is not.....where is the best place in Adelaide to get a used apexi power fc + hand controller + boost controller. I know that there is a number of tuners who are capable with the power fc on a skyline. Any comments appreciated.
-
That was a quick reply, Thanx.
-
Is there a different Apexi Power FC to be used with the series 2 GTST as apposed to the series 1, I have heard different opinions but no one is real sure. Can someone with a series 2 running a Power FC comment. Thanks.

Extremely happy with AAA, Gordon down there knew his stuff, showed me the ressy and muffler that he was going to use and a dump pipe that he had made for another customer just so i could see what the final job was going to look like. Ive got the supercat cannon muffler hanging out the back and he tilted it in such a way so that the muffler has enough ground clearance but still sticks out at an angle like the jap systems do, he explained all this to me which was much more than what D&Tand ET did. D&T offered me a free dyno run before and after but i was cautious of this as when they did the exhaust on my ET pulsar they told me they would do the same but then didnt and made up the excuse that my radiator was leaking and they didnt want to risk it, could have told me when they found the leak untill waiting until i handed over the money.
-
Got the exhaust done at AAA, did a great job, thanks Busky2k for the advice. Just gotta love that RB roar dont ya.
-
AAA quoted me 1400, not to bad, especially when compared to exhaust technologys 1600 for a mild steel one, D&T would do me a stainless one for 1650.
-
You sound pretty happy with AAA, do you think they would do a split dumpipe aswell?, best way is to ring and ask them i suppose. Price sounds cheap, especially when most places are looking at close to the 1700 mark for a full stainless system. What kind of muffler did you get put on?, the usuall barrel style muffler?
-
where did ya get that twin pipe dump from?
-
how do the jap exhausts compare in the way of noise, arent they a bit on the loud side or am i mistaken.
