no black smoke or other symptom except car feels especially sluggish in third when it is should be pulling away. revs built up slowly once 5000rpm is reached. Thanks anyway, I put it down to the oil or the ignition timing (feels like pushing a potato through a straw).

Just changed motor oil (mobil1 5w50), oil filter (Cooper) & gearbox oil (redline lightweight shockproof) last week and now car is struggling to push past 5000rpm. Car was taken to trusty mechanic who serviced my car for past 3.5 years, no problems. Have been using same motor oil for past 3 years so don't know what is the symptom. cleaned filter, bit better but still car still very sluggish off and on boost. Went up against catback exhaust r33 and struggled to keep up. car has unichip retuned 05/04 stock boost 181rwkw. clutch is heavy duty daiken replaced 15000kms previously, daily driver, not thrashed. Cooper plugs done only 6000kms. redline oil and the oil filter is the only different thing I have used (previously castrol VMX80 and ryco).

Got fined for $70 "parking near an intersection"?. Seen other cars parking in same spot daily with no parking fines and usually the same car. There is no stopping or parking signs whatsoever. don't know if it was the batch or not but i put in half a tank of synergy 8000 last week and as soon as i hit boost in 3rd, unichip retarded the timing or something. Car started jerking violently. Never in my 3 year of driving the r33 gtst using BP have i ever encountered this. Off boost response has also dropped.

181rwkw on stock boost(7psi) unichip, fmic, front pipe and cat back on 13.5 psi should be closer to 200rwkw

used coil packs are around the $75-$100 mark each. $150 new.

similiar problem to my tuning at CRD. Mine's FMIC, unichip, full exhaust, EBC made 163rwkw with a stuffed coil pack, replaced it and made 181rwkw on 7psi. Jim @CRD suggested gapping the plugs from 0.8 to 0.75 if wanted to go on higher boost as the spark was breaking down with more than 7psi. Gapped it and had a test run on .8(11psi) and .9(13psi)bar, sweet.....

saw 3 6Ts at CRD yesterday waiting to tune my unichip and general checkup. 1st 6t was an APS stage 1 putting out average 220rwkw 2nd 6t, stage 3 putting out average 320rwkw (stock is approx 194rwkw) so well over 500hp. Cost him $60k all up. last one was the 6T ute owned by Mario at CRD putting out 375rwkw awesome sight esp Mario's doing demo runs
