  1. soooooooo........... from one race track to another this time Queensland Raceway another early Sunday morning arrived at QR without any problems, however................... it was nice and cold! this R33 GTR was just amazing time to go on track had so much fun we were on track for almost an hour - I finally feel the tyres gripping and instantly feel more confident and the car was handling very well, but that QR track can be brutal on brakes (mine were smokin lol) Certainly enjoy finally been able to use the car for what its built for I had some water under my rear boot lip which caused some nice and abstract art at the back with the unburnt fuel but I got her nice and cleaned up when I got home heres some video footage with expert on board commentary

I gave the ant-eater some fresh blood and filter because I her one very early Sunday morning (5:00am) On the way to Lakeside Parkway (raceway) - fog! Fog was indeed foggy but then the sunrise changed everything after a little detour (thanks to shitty Iphail maps) I reached LP our time on track (just happy laps) was in conjunction with the QLD EVO OWNERS CLUB which made things exciting after a brief discussion with QR officials we were good to go Can I say that I had a ball of a time and finally got use the cars full power on that straight Being my first outing on track with this much power I was driving very cautiously but could certainly feel that the car needs much work with the suspension still had an amazing day and all can say is that its addictive and will not be the last time I go on track - a new chapter has started for this car a small video from an emo of the track time

  9. Its actually a common thing mate, and as the cars are aging it will become more and more susceptible to car cancer All up it costs me less than $100 (still exy for what it is but thats Nissan) Brackets were $55 Gaskets were supplied by Robbie at $40

  16. It was time to put the wing back in its place with all the new gaskets and brackets installed rear wing all sorted
  17. I sourced some OEM parts thanks to my good friend Robbie $$slowmedown and even got to meet Marcus elrodeo666 who is a top bloke but before any of this goes on I wanted to make certain I rust proof that wing these brackets were going to get the treatment of lifetime first some rust-guard primer and then some anti-rust black (final) coat I also decided to paint strip and lightly sand the rear wing stay pods then give them a coat of this again dupli*color DSSB01 (closest thing to Nissan Crystal White) I haven't put a coat of clear on yet but will do so next time I take them off and then sand them down and cut to perfection
  18. I started to clean up and detail the rear wing as well is actually a time consuming job but worth it in the end Time to remove that nismo sticker I had on the back of the rear wing to make things smoother
