  1. 2x Reloop direct drive high torque turntables (Model number RP3000) 1 x VMX 100 2 channel mixer with BPM counter 1x Reloop killer blue 2 channel mixer All are in really good nick. I reckon it is a pretty good set to learn on. I am selling because I am moving overseas. I am in Perth BTW. The Lot = $450 O.N.O. PM me or call 0409 117 917
  2. I got a PFC and H/C off them and although i ordered it during Golden Week (National Japanese holiday i believe) i had my order here in 10 days, including weekends. I had no problems with customs either. I recommend their service!
  3. NIz, Hanging around with Pauly has made his bad car luck rub off on you.... Much sympathies though and good luck getting it fixed
  4. YEp, Bout the only ford that i see consistently driven by a fit folks would be the Jag F1 cars!
  5. Hmm, I reckon that the v8 idea is pretty ordinary. Car speeds can easily be reduced by restricting the tires. Like i am sure a few guys on here know from personal experience it does not matter if you are running 500rwkw if you can't get traction...
  6. i always see a black skyline at belmont forum and it has really dirty headlights.. you know the type that is begging for that plastic polish to make em all clear again i have thought about popping down and cleaning them and then leaving like a masked crusader of the headlight fraternity but yeah i am worried i will start and then some security guard or owner for that matter. will come out and chase me or something.. maybe i will cloak in a black shroud and (yeah my size ..cloaking..rofl) then do it during late night shopping
  7. Thanks heaps guys for the lack of flaming guys. Seems i am a bit of a tard with the old search button. Cheers for the info it has been really helpful!
  8. Hey All, I was just wondering if I could get some information on how to wire a Z32 afm into my Series II R33 GTS-T (I have the appropriate plug.) A wiring diagram would be highly desirable but any info anyone could share with me on the topic would be most appreciated! Just for the record I have done some searches but I have not had much luck. Sorry if I am rehashing old queries… Cheers Tim
  9. There is a pretty long thread about the virtues of Redline and the cases for and against floating around the forum somewhere. Could be worth a search?
  10. For all the positive hype over Gene he really messed up in the Magny Cours GP. Finishing behind JPM, who had a nice spin, is a poor effort in my opinion. Yes he had problems with the clutch on launc but come on... As for Webber staying at Jag? I have heard of people being dreamers but that has to be one of the most outlandish things i have heard. Still you never know with F1.
  11. I totally agree with you on that he was a major diruption to BAR during the last 2 years of his tenure. I think that he was annoyed that he went to a team that was really not up to what it promised him. Thus he wasted what should have been his prime driving a car that was sub standard. When the car started to come good he was such a bitter man that he gave half efforts that tarnished his name and brought down his team morale. Or so i beleive (not that i have any expertise at all )
  12. I don't reckon that JV is a git. Maybe he is tempremental and not good at playing the games that the F1 paddock is so famous for but he makes for interesting racing and speaks his mind honestly. Thus i find him to be more entertaining than a lot of drivers that are currently in F1. Seeing as F1 is kinda in the entertainment business i would like to see him back on the grid in a good car...
  13. Some interesting news on the whole Webber drive situation: "Ralf Schumacher got a shock yesterday when he visited the clinic at Bad Nauheim and discovered that he had two fractures in his spine. He will be out of action for at least eight weeks and probably 12 and that means that the Williams team is looking at not seeing him again until the end of September or the beginning of October. If that is the case and with Ralf on his way to Toyota next year, there is no point in the team taking Schumacher back as his replacement will be settled into the team by that point. Williams is expected to announce that Marc Gene will drive the car at the French Grand Prix but there is now a big opportunity for the team to pick a new driver and there is no doubt that the first thing that will happen is that Williams will be going to Jaguar Racing and trying to sign up Mark Webber. The Australian is expected to go to Williams next year and Jaguar no longer has a hold on him after the end of the current season. Renault is going to announce Jarno Trulli and Fernando Alonso for 2005 at the French GP and so there is no longer any reason why Webber cannot join Williams and letting him go early may be a good way for Jaguar to raise some money and try out a new driver for the remaining races this year. The big question is likely to be who will be chosen for this role with the test and reserve driver Bjorn Wirdheim obviously one possibility but also Anthony Davidson, the BAR test driver, a favourite of team boss Tony Purnell. It is also possible that Red Bull might push to get Formula 3000 racer Vitantonio Liuzzi into the second Jaguar although it probably makes more sense for him to complete his Formula 3000 programme and worry about F1 after that. One way or another there are likely to be big moves in the next few days." Sourced from Grandprix.com
  14. I had these symptom and it turned to be a case of detonation. Thus it sounds like detonation to me also. If it is detonation and you have a stock ECU chances are the car has set it self to limp home mode and you are gonna be missing some performance. Like everyone else has said i reckon that you should get it to a reputable mechanic!
  15. Mate thats bloody ordinary. Many condolences Hopefully Jash can sort you out and you can get your car back on the road ASAP... Till the next bit of expensive luck happens
  16. How come you spent the $$ on the battery? Surely a jump start would have been ok?
  17. I reckon that if you can afford it skip the R34 GTT and goe straight to GTR. The amount of stamp duty that you will lose to the govt alone buying 3 cars over 20 grand would be in the vicinty of 3+ G's. Thus purely on a not funding the govt for no reason i vote fot the GTR.

    cat

Further to the point of the thread, i have a mate who purchased a car that has no cat. The cops pulled him over to issue him with a speeding fine. The checked his exhaust by having him rev his engine. What they did while he was doing this i do not know BUT he drove away with just his driving infringement. So far as i have been informed by workshops etc it is as we all know against the law to not have a cat but the police have no sure way to check at this point. On the topic of removing the cat i was under the impression that a car that has no cat but has a stock (recirc) BOV would not produce flames. I was told the an ATMO BOV would bring the flame issue to the fore. I have no idea why this would be and i am just trying to get my facts straight... Can anyone shed some light on this for me?
  19. Front mounts are easy as to install... The hardest part would be trimming the front bar to fit the cooler. I have added an FMIC and a PFC to my car. I think that the PFC is the better mod. Gave me a much better power curve
  20. Sad to hear about the line but great to hear that you and the other lday will be ok. All the best for getting your car back on the road
  21. I used Castrol VMX80 also. Twas $34.95 for 4 litres. It has made the gearbox slightly better but it is not as good as i had hoped. Still for 35 bucks and about 1 hour of work not a bad way to improve the driving feel of your car.
  22. Steve thanks for the continued replies & Robo thanks for your input... The cat is going to be exchanged for a high flow unit this weekend. I will play around with the boost also. As for AFR's i will have to get back to you on that...
  23. I have a 3 inch into 2- 2.5 inch dual exhaust and it is very quiet. I have had a run with an R33 with full turbs back HKS super dragger. I would say that my car was a bit quieter.
  24. Hey all, Thanks for all the responses and apologies for not getting back online sooner. I have limted net access:( Right to answer all your various queries & theories: Lukits01: The CAI box is quite large and has direct air feed from front bar, as a result i would say that there is AT LEAST as much air available to the engine as with standard set up. The boost also seems very stable as it was one of the things measured on the Dyno. Stays at 9psi with a 0.2ish spike over 6500 rpm. Nice dyno reading for your car BTW. Paul R33: By my calculations i am making about 160ish rwkw. So i think that i have a bit more power to expect but i may be wrong? Steve: When i had my stcok boost (2 weeks ago) with my full turbo back exhaust, apart from cat, the boost was reading about 6.8 PSI flat out in 2nd and 3rd gears on my PFC and after market boost gauge. So the bleed valve has upped the boost a bit. As for the current boost levels, i did have it set to 10PSI (i wanted a little more but am have the series II turbo and wanted to be safe-ish with the spike) the tuner reduced it to 9psi and told me he did that because there is only so much air that the standard turbo can push and any more is a waste. The rattling from the fuel rail may well be the injectors BUT they have gotten much louder of late (in the past 2 weeks or so) even the tuner remarked that my engine was making some funny noises. I changed the PCV valve it was PERISHED to the point of being totally worthless. The leak has stopped as a result of this. I checked all hoses and pipes and ther were no other leaks that i could find. THE Mafia: I feel your pain of not having the power that you expect GTR32: Good question. The tuner says that he thinks that the power is right and if i want any more i have to get a new AFM and take it back and he can get a little more for me. He also advised me to get a better cat. Rev210: Thanks for your feedback and advice. I am hoping not to spend too much more on my car for a while but a jap spec cat is on the cards. Cams, fuel system and flywheel will be the next mods but a little further down the track. BTW the car has 60k kms on the clock. Thanks again for all the advice folks. I am not too sure what to do but i will post any developments on this thread. Cheers Tim
