  1. my car is back at sst, it hasnt been starting very well in the morning so I am going to leave it with steve for a few days get him to sort it out.
  2. how did he find that out? do a compression test?
  3. Evening all... has hicks got his car back yet?
  4. Hmmm, nasty accident. They have the rims I am after, if they are 18's I wonder if they will sell me 2?
  5. I bought some meguires scratch x and quickwax today, I will try them out next sunday.
  6. Evening what happened to the quick post box down the bottom?
  7. *yawn* I am getting tired of repeating myself. I'm making 340hp (another car is making 350hp with a different turbo) and both of us are sitting on 70% injector cycle. I dont have a fuel reg just a bosch 910 fuel pump. neither of our cars seem like they are running out of fuel nor do the injectors report as being maxxed out, they are definately stock injectors as we had them out 2-3 weeks ago to be cleaned before we put the wolf3d v4 in.
  8. I'm not running any aftermarket/rising rate regulator, just a bosch 910 fuel pump, my injectors are at 70% duty cycle at 340hp. The turbo's flowing 1 bar and we havent been able to take it much higher because the stock manifold isnt flowing very well.
  9. I'm making 250-260kw @ wheels on a td06-20g with a 16cm exhaust housing. When I get the chance to spend more dosh on the car (probably 6-8 months) I'll wind the boost up and have a crack at 300kw @ wheels.
  10. 'night all
  11. No
  12. stock pistons can only live so long on 411hp @ wheels (well over 500hp @ engine) plus I think he's running close to 17psi which is getting to the limits
  13. Hey hicks?
  14. Hey and welcome

    clutch

It helps to do a search before asking. Try ross @ perth autoclutch in osborne park. About $830 drive in and out for a 2500pound pressure plate 9 puck clutch doing me well and I have a touch under 350hp @ wheels.
  16. Also r32's are lighter than us r33's With a set of nitto's and no respect for my clutch maybe I could get a mid 12
  17. Scarey. I wouldnt want to be driving on it too much, cant do more than 80km/hr and even then I was only doing 70km/hr just to make sure I got home ok. Seriously its about 1/4 the width of the new 265/35 rubber.
  18. Do a search on "trust td06 stage 2" that will show you my dyno graph, it has a fair wack more midrange now its been tuned. This is the first time I've been down the strip with the new setup and I'm convinced I can drive the car better after I get some more runs under my belt, but I want the track to be fully prepped before I do and I still think I'll take steve-sst or rev210 along anyway, so if I cant drive the car any better they can at least put down a more respectable time. Regardless of how it performs down the track its a 150% improvement on the stock turbo and ecu, the car puts you back into the seat nice and hard unlike the stock turbo, sure its laggy, but what larger turbo isnt.
  19. The only way you could have maximum no claim bonus was if your daddy was insuring your vehicle for you. I admit I am a very stereotypical person, but thats because I see it all the time where I work. My accident has nothing to do with my skill level, I just didnt simply see the roundabout, if anything my skill level saved me from doing more damage to the car.
  20. Thats the thing though it wasnt drift damage, I wasnt trying to drift. I've never attempted to drift on the road before because it'll end up in tears.
  21. I will be... poofta's
  22. New rims with 265/35 rubber plenty of room there with stock springs
  23. More skirt damage
  24. Photo's of my poor baby after going sideways through a roundabout. Didnt see it, no give ways signs or roundabout signs, a lamppost was out one was lit but it wasnt enough. Locked up the brakes the car went sideways as I tried to steer around the rounabout, blew the drivers side rear tyre and then beached itself on the far corner in some sand between the kerb and the footpath. It seems I was quite lucky, the sideskirt is beyond repair I think, and I had to put some new rubber on (so I went ahead and put the 2 18" rims I had on the rear) though it seems I need a wheel allignment as anything over 100km/hr and the wheel vibrates.
