overboosting? how much was it overboosting too? I dont plan on running more than 1 bar on my stock internals, I think that will be enough to tip the scales at around 370hp.

Possibly, depends on how much it costs all up I want to move the boost gauge to the higher holder and try and get it hooked up to power so it lights up. should be able to splice the oil pressure power wires and add the HKS ones to it

Where's a good place to get them cleaned and checked for flow?

Its going to steve on monday to get the oil changed and then I'll take a couple of days off during the school holidays to finish it off with the injectors and ecu.

Hmmm, 249hp seems lowish. I had 245hp with just upped boost via my blitz sbc, dump+front pipe and stock ecu with no safc. Though this was done on steve's dyno.

As I've said on in this forum several times before, after I fitted a single piped dump and 3" front pipe my boost spoolup dropped from 3500 to 2600rpm, only gained about 10HP peak but the difference on the road with the car spooling up faster is huge. Although there is nothing like a big turbo kicking in and putting you back into the seat like my trusty td06

Steve seems to think they go ok with around 350hp, its just when they start pulling 400hp+ they die.

I'm gonna get my injectors cleaned and tested for flow and do a compression test before we put the wolf3d on, just see if there are any problems with the engine before we start to tune it.

My car is definately louder now with the bigger turbo and wastegate. It resonates a bit, which is a bit annoying but it pops and farts more its great
