  1. Looks like I am going to be carless from monday to wednesday next week. Truck driver at work swiped my rear wing and took the paint off it and some fibreglass chunks and a smallish scrape where the spoiler meets the rear 1/4, lucky no major body damage or panel damage. So its off to get that fixed and I'm paying to have the key scratches and bootlid latch fixed up on the rest of the boot... little shits trying to steal the nissan badge.
  2. The 18" enkei's are very lightweight... or so they seem when I picked them up, unless of course I'm stronger than I think *rofl*
  3. mmmm.. getting hungry time for lunchies
  4. killerT has the black r33 with white AVS rims. I'll have some 18" enkei's on mine over the next few months. The rims themselves are cheap (got some 2nd hand ones) but the tyres are exxy... I need a tyre mate
  5. Sail past you or aidwin? beating you wont be as easy, I know that... I'll just be happy to run somewhere in the low 12's or maybe even an 11. anyway, really going to bed now.
  6. well, smaller exhaust housing will mean less lag, but less HP then I think I perfer the HP kick in the top end, puts you back in the seat hard
  7. you'll probably beat me off the mark, but by the time my turbo spools up and kicks in I'll be sailing past i hope
  8. Got your car sorted yet aidwin?
  9. A couple of people, one from a turbo place over in QLD, have said that it also spools up slower because of where the wastegate has been mounted, I wonder if there is any truth in that.
  10. So long as it can be fitted without moving the turbo so I dont have to have new intercooler/dump pipes made that would be good, plus being so low mount its not so noticeable
  11. 4500rpm isnt that bad... once your going in 2nd and 3rd its good, first is boring till it breaks traction
  12. If thats the case a simular sort of manifold may make a reasonable difference to my turbo too.
  13. Yeah yeah, lets get it on the car and see the dyno results first
  14. Anyway, bed for me... 'night

    18" Rims

I'll sell you my 18x9 and 18x8 enkei rims for $2500 erik.
  16. Pfft... copy? Nothing wrong with following tried and tested steps Your the one bolting on a big turbo just after I did mine
  17. Yeah cos you lost a heap of oil... I havent lost any oil, I just think it'd be a good idea to see if the car has bad compression on 1 cyclinder... hasnt shown any signs of it though.
  18. I think I might have to swap to one of these manifolds pending your results paul
  19. tax documents are done will sign them tomorrow or friday. They usually have an estimation of how much I'll get back when I sign so that'll be nice to see. I'm waiting till school holidays, so the missus is off work, till the car goes into SST to start on the work, first we'll pull the injectors out send them off for a clean and flow testing, then they can go back in with a nismo fuel regulator and guage aswell as doing a compression test to make sure the engines A1 before we put the wolf3d in and start leaning on it a bit.
  20. Probably not till the works is all done. Its school holidays in 5 or so weeks time, so the car can go to sst's for a couple of days to have the injectors pulled out and sent off for cleaning and flow testing. I also want to do a compression test on the engine to make sure its all A1 before the wolf3d goes in and we start leaning on it a bit harder. I expect I'll be down there in a couple of months, summer/wednesday night drags might be back on then which will be better for me, sunday's my only day off so I like to keep it reasonably free, usually just do some gardening or vege out infront of the tv, or go for a cruise or go to a winery with the missus etc etc
  21. Big gay paul
  22. can you send pics to [email protected] please.
  23. What series, airbag or no airbag?
  24. My blitz sbc was around the $650 mark. I think the avcr's are still up around $800+
  25. Yeah just sold mine It went pretty cheaply to a mate, seen them sell for up to $500 in the for sale section. A decent turbo upgrade will still set you back from $2k upwards (something like a garrett gt28) so if you dont want to make huge power or are cash strapped I dont see whats wrong with the stock turbo. If it was like $1k for a bigger/better turbo it'd be worth saving up.
