  1. Maybe I should change my signature to say 344hp more than paulie
  2. Yeah mate, runs about .8bar... so about 12psi or so according to the boost controller, which is much better. I will probably turn the boost controller off and run 9-10psi though for a while I guess... might enjoy some economy as it wont be coming on boost much
  3. I have a few mates who own r33's as well as having the wolf3d. One of them runs a hks t04, one of them still running the stock turbo. Both of them perform extremely well and both are very happy with the tune. The tuner has tuned wolf for a while now and knows all the ins and outs, like the turbo guy.
  4. Where do you live drifta?
  5. The wastegate is already attached, the turbo is already attached. Yes it spools up slow, yes it races to the rev-limiter. Yes the exhaust housing is probably too big. Once I fit the fuel system and ecu I'll post the final dyno curves then. If I can get it to come in earlier, might look at cams and a better manifold than the stock one from a flow point of view. The guy who did the turbo work for me has been in the turbo business for a while, I'm sure he knows what he's doing otherwise he'd been out of the business a long time ago. BTW: bigger turbo's and external wastegates are loud enough without a screamer pipe/cop bait... if you want to hear it I'll take you for a ride in my car, I think I might have to add a resonator in the exhaust somewhere.
  6. Hmmm, its started raining... no point in me going out for a trash I'd be sideways as soon as boost hit
  7. With paul giving the sbc a quick going over we've kept boost to around 12psi... still doesnt hit full spool to well into 4000rpm, like 4500rpm. But if you dont watch it you hit the rev limiter damn quick. I'm thinking, bosch fuel pump next week I also do my tax return next week (so in 4 weeks from then I should have my return) so long as I can sell my old turbo and dump+front pipe I can afford 6 new injectors with the money from the sale. All I need then is my wolf3d. I'll be going with a bosch 910, $200 and all the flow I need for 500+hp
  8. check out this link for the items: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...&threadid=21790
  9. After upgrading my turbo and putting in a new wastegate line and exhaust dump+front pipe I'm selling my stock turbo and 3" dump+front pipe. I've included a sample of shots serious buyers can give me their email address and I can send pics of exhaust wheel the flange connections on the dump pipe etc etc. The turbo hasnt seen higher than 13psi the car came across stock as a rock with 51000km's, its had a ebc running hi and low boost but never more than 13psi through it. So both items are in excellent condition, just need cleaning up. I want $500 for the turbo and $400 for the dump+front pipe. I would perfer a WA buyer the parts can be shipped interstate at the buyers expense.
  10. Chasing you down micko... however I think you might win
  11. Check this thread for the dyno sheets: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...25&pagenumber=3
  12. probably a NA r33 like mearcat who has a GTR kit on his.
  13. All I can say is faaaaark The sbc needs re-tuning as its lost all its settings when the battery was disconnected, I might be able to get the turbo spooling earlier with the gain set up higher... but faaaark it hammers, shame it dont hammer till 4600rpm, but that will be fixed when the ecu goes in and maybe cams if that dont help enough
  14. Here's the afr dyno sheet, overly rich in the midrange and watch my power curve die
  15. Well its all done. Cars damn noisey now with the external gate, might have to look into some sort of resonator to keep the noise down even with a external wastegate line that plumbs back into the exhaust. I'll attach the dyno sheets, there are 2, one shows the boost and how quickly (or slowly I should say) it comes on the other shows my afr. The power curve is quite ugly midrange where the stock ecu dumps a whole heap of fuel into the map and then by the top end its sitting about right where its making huge amounts of power. The car is much quicker, as you can imagine, but the lag is quite bad. Firstly I need to reset my sbc as all the functions have been dropped cos the battery was disconnected for so long. Now I definately need a bigger fuel pump, bigger injectors and then I can think about a new ecu to fix up my ugly power curve. Its pretty promising so far, I just wish it wasnt so laggy, but that can be partially fixed by setting up the gain correctly on my sbc and then with a new ecu and advancing the ignition maps a bit. I think we can safely say I will reach 400hp by the end of it at the treads quite easily.
  16. Bastard... always 1 step ahead of me Have you got bigger injectors in there yet as well or you going to try and keep the HP down with the stock ones? I'm gonna upgrade my fuel pump and injectors next and then do the wolf3d.
  17. Yeah I am off to bed too fella's... 'night, all welcome to come tomorrow night to sst for dyno session
  18. Hiflo cats, 3" cats, to be honest does the dollars spent really justify the power gain's? Granted your exhaust will only flow as much as the smallest part is but does $250 spent on a hiflo cat really make that much difference? I'd love to see a before and after dyno/test on this. I would think the difference would be negligable.
  19. The price of 18" performance tyres gave me a heart attack I want to organise the other 2 enkei's rims soon too, thats another $1000
  20. The money spent on the top fuel rail + injectors would come close to $1k wouldnt it? I'd rather use the stock rail and get something that just pops in, less ****ing around and looks more stock too.
  21. I need to find some cheap aussie made injectors that will flow 550cc... know of anything or am I gonna have to fork out for sard ones?
  22. Hey aidwin whats happening to your car at sst?
  23. $500 for the turbo, I think it will be in excellent condition having spent the majority of its life at 7psi, and $400 for the dump+front pipe... the front pipe has a hole already made (currently blocked up) for a exhaust temp sensor.
  24. Well godfather doesnt want my dump+front pipe anymore and I dont think red17 wants my turbo anymore... so they are both up for sale again. Hopefully I can get rid of both of them quickly to help recoup the money spent.
