  4. Might be a stock turbo with some sort of japanese hiflo, or a small HKS unit like a 2530. Give me a couple of months and I should have at least the turbo on

  7. When I was at works auto on thursday aidwin was getting a carbon fibre fitted up to his r33 He can afford a carbon fibre bonnet but he hasnt done his ecu yet... tut tut rice boi

  10. Possibly. I work at Harvey norman cannington now and I was at works auto picking up the turbo this morning.

  12. Well I dont drive at more than 4000rpm on the way to and from work unless I have to. With an external gate it'd be cop bait anyway. But when I do give the car a bit later at night, like on the way home from cricket, it see's the high side of 6000rpm a fair bit
  13. Yeah, I dont think ross or simon are the type of people that would rip someone off. I just want to make full boost by 4000rpm otherwise it'll be a boring drive. till you hit 4000+rpm and then it'd be all sideways
  14. Wont be fitted for a while paul. I got it from works auto who was selling it for one of their customers, who they dont have a phone number for. No-one could really tell me the full story behind the turbo, simon could only tell me the guy who had it last got it off a rx7 and was going to put it on his rb20det but decided it to be too big and laggy for it. Apparently its been rebuilt recently, the only things worrying me is if its naffed (ie: needs another rebuild) and the A/R so I can find out if its going to be a lag monster. From what simon says he reckons 3500-3800 full spool up. Its going to grant on sunday/monday for him to look at and tell me what he can and also how much to fit it to the std manifold+oil lines+ext wastegate. I might get it put on sooner depending on all up costs. It was far too good a price to let it go and considering a mate of mine with a r32 wants my std turbo the change-over cost is amazing.

  17. Ok... here's some pics and some more info. its a TD06H-20G. On the compressor wheel its got the trust part number: 49179-52010 which is different to the part number on the trust blue plate (49179-01190) It also has 0/8 and H9 written on it. The exhaust housing has a Q then DUCM then 2 then 6G also 7 9-14400. Dunno if this means anything... any more idea's of HP and spoolup time?

  20. Hullo Whose going to the dyno day... I'll be there with my new turbo (in hand, not in car... yet) need to leave it with steve to get grant to check it out.
  21. Ok... well I have the turbo in my hands, I'll take some photo's tomorrow and post them. It appears to be a td06-20 with a 25g exhaust housing... so I am told, I havent had a good look at it yet.
  22. td06 is smaller than the t67 isnt it, so you should see boost come on much earlier?
  23. It goes hard but lacks midrange power/torque?
  24. when does he get full boost?
