  1. Mine looks to be hooked up the same way as troy's dont see any problems there.
  2. evening all.
  3. plastic cover on the fan then its got a metal cable tie thingy to hold it on
  4. Clutch is already done, I'm running a 9 puck unit with a 2500pound pressure plate, same unit most of the guys over here in WA use cos we all go to the same guy... Ross @ Perth AutoClutch The ecu I go for will run a 3bar map sensor so I dont need a AFM. I have an EBC, as per my signature. I figured the fuel pump would need doing and I might see if a fuel regulator might keep me from buying injectors... but we'll see what happens... how much is the HKS 2835? Isnt the manifold's flange a T28? which means t25 and t3 turbo's only bolt up with an adaptor plate? or so I thought.
  5. gjb977 just remember the stock engine internals wont like running at anything above 16-17psi for long/hard periods, the injectors will need replacing to keep up with the flow plus you'll need an aftermarket ecu to make the most of it all without a little bit of careful thought you could end up doing more damage then good. Do searches on these forums, you'll find a lot of information on them for pretty good sources in regards to what you can and cant do on the stock internal engine.
  6. Keeps the oil out of the intake and the intercooler. $199 inc shipping from taka kaira and probably around $50 to get steve at sst to fit it up.
  7. And another one.
  8. pics of the catch can fitted up.
  9. morning... got pics of catch can but ran out of time before i left home post em tonight
  10. time for bed methinks... 'night.
  11. If you guys are flabby, what am I?
  12. I should go back to the gym and get more buff.
  13. macka is that your tit in your avatar? man you got phat
  14. BEEFCAKE!
  15. Looks like it'll have to be a GT30 garrett turbo with an external wastegate... was trying to keep it smaller, but steve reckons it'll be the only turbo to flow enough.
  16. Yup saw i troy. I'll take some photo's in the morn and post them.
  17. Its coming back to a cost issue Paul... trying to get what I need on the budget, but still doing it reliably and with decent parts. I think the wolf plugin will do the job for 350hp @ wheels.
  18. Spoke to steve@sst today about the wolf plugin ecu Looks like I might go that way.
  19. Yeah, on the radiator support... I'll photo it in the morning when I get up its too dark now and I dont have a garage I really wish I had one... would keep my car cleaner and make life easier.
  20. I had this problem when I ran my tank bone dry I think there was crap in the bottom and it got sucked into the fuel filter. New filter and a fill up at the servo I normally use and all was well again
  21. Here's the plan, in the next 2 months I'll be changing to an aftermarket ecu. Then I'll be on the market for a new turbo. I want 350hp @ wheels, I'd like full boost around 3500. What turbo do you think I should go for? I'll upgrade the fuel pump and put in a nismo fuel regulator if necesary, but I'd like to run on stock internals for sometime, so I need to keep the boost lowish, thinking around 1.2bar max. Most people have been saying the garrett GT30 with an external wastegate. Whats your thoughts? Muchly appreciated
  22. I left mine at speedworks when I got the fmic put on... ring them up and ask them if they still have it?
  23. You watch that shite? I find it the most annoying thing, apart from BB, on tv. The way those girls talk is rediculous as if anyone talks or thinks like that, its so annoying.
  24. I dont think so... might get paul to have a look as he's got the same ebc hooked up.
  25. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...?threadid=15916 check that link to see my dyno sheet, you can see where the boost drops immediately at around 4600rpm... I think its the actuator spring on my stock turbo being very weak, dont think its the ebc.
