  8. Yes they do, I'm running very very rich at the top end, which is due to the stock ecu. I will be putting in an aftermarket ecu to sort that out, but that may fix the boost problem, looks like a boost cut. Dunno if I will bother replacing the actuator with a HKS as I'll probably be changing the turbo.

  10. Nope, its the first one he's seen to do it. I have used this dyno since day 1 when my car was completely stock it dyno'd at 97kw@wheels and the boost did the exact opposite it jumped at that same point. We then put an exhaust on and dyno'd it again, same results with the boost but power jumped to 115kw@wheels. I then had the ebc and fmic installed and we dyno'd it again and got the opposite, boost was now dropping at the same point instead of holding firm and power went up to 235hp@wheels. So I got the dump+front pipe done and power went up to 245hp@wheels but still having the boost issue.
  11. whats the major difference between a low mounted and a high mounted turbo... I know if I go down the high mounted turbo I need a whole new manifold.

  13. Hmmm... this is all very annoying. If I can get the wolf tuned for $2200 why pay the extra $1300 for the autronic?
  14. Paul, gtst-vspec, was saying that the updated wolf software has traction control... or was that launch control? hmmm.
  15. Whats the benefits of the autronics to the wolf can anyone give an honest opinion?
  16. My cars a daily driver so I want a nice street package. For the ecu I'm looking at a autronic's unit and the turbo I'm thinking a garret GT28 with an internal wastegate or I may go the GT30 with a external wastegate just depends. What do you think?

  20. As you can see from the dyno sheet my boost drops off immediately around 4600rpm mark and then steadly drops as the turbo loses efficiency, any idea's. I'm using a blitz dual sbc EBC, only thing I can think of is the stock ecu being a a stick in the mud
  21. I'm not fussed about the intake manifold/plenum as I have a trust fmic that uses the stock intake pipes, but I may change my exhaust manifold to suit the larger turbo I put on, ultimately I am chasing around 350hp.

  23. I have heard (dont crucify me for this please ) that the stock rb25det exhaust manifold isnt very good for flow and quite restrictive, is this true?
  24. My catch can was aposted on the 8th of may so it shouldnt be too far away.
  25. The other thing is it always only be as good as the tuner. The wolf is looking like a good local contender to the microtech and powerfc. Its a good upgrade on the stock ecu at any rate, my car is running so rich at the top end its redicolous.
