  1. damn missed it. all i saw was a monaro on the dyno. only stayed for an hour, too much fumes and lack of promo girls
  2. Hehehe... dont you have a woman? When you have 1 all you want is more
  3. I have a wife
  4. Well... what was I supposed to do, I think in one of them you can see her panties too
  5. damn joe! I wondered where my thread went... thread stealer!
  6. Thats crap dave. I hope its easily fixed... you'll have to use some of those work funds
  7. Just as it does to you.
  8. And its people like you on the street that give us a bad name. Streets not the place for going fast, go down to wanneroo and thrash it all you like. Unless of course you just redline it till you hit the speed-limit... *chuckle* Just because it was done at a high performance shop, dont expect it to be decent, sometimes things are done on the cheap. Use a good oil like mobil 1 and change it and the filter every 5000km's if you plan on thrashing it all the time. And I use my car in the manner I bought it for, just not all the time... I dont *have* to change at 6000rpm+ everytime to get enjoyment out of my car.
  9. Wasnt having a go at you paul, just improvise.
  10. The point is I like to get good milage and prolong the life of my engine and most of my driving is done going to and from work at peak times. The point of having the turbo is that when its late at night and I want to fang it I can. If you wish to drive like a ****nut and change gears *all* the time around 6000+ rpm go for it. Just dont whinge about your poor mileage. I'll ask my questions again, do you use BP Ultimate 98 and what engine oil was put into the car?
  11. I dont drive my car hard 100% of the time on average I get 450-500km's out of a tank. I generally change gears at 3000rpm around 90% of the time, whilst 7% is around 5000rpm and the rest around 6500rpm. If you only got 350km's out of a 60l tank, I'd suggest you have been floggin it far too hard, back off or you will do some damage, especially if the car was complianced with cheap oil also are you using BP ultimate98?. I get the same rev problem when starting the car, happens maybe once a fortnight... dunno what it is, could be something to do with the AFM.
  12. I see... and this advances the ignition timing??
  13. Whats an ITC?
  14. The instructions say it will dry without streaking and does not need to be wiped off.
  15. Well every workshop will have difference prices on compliance, as it may change with what work needs to be done. But I think I paid (got the receipts at home not at work) it was around $2500 including 4 ceat tornado tyres to suit std 16" rims.
  16. The workshop that complianced mine did show me, Phils Mechanical. All fluids should be changed, new air filter element, spark plugs if necesary, light bulbs in some cases, seat belts, child restraints in the rear, new tyres on all corners, etc etc etc... There are many many points that need to be addressed. Plus the workshop should make sure the car is mechanically sound and test drive the vehicle. Mine had a rooted drivetrain when it came in, it vibrated badly at 60-100km's, they first thought it was the wheels and did an alignment, didnt fix it so they pulled the drivetrain out and all 3 unijoints needed to be machined and replaced, ended up costing me another $360 ($120/joint inc labour). But the car drives smoothly up to 200km/hr... dont think I've been much beyond that and dont want to either
  17. heh... buy more houses in area's where there is huge growth. Make more profit, buy a mines or hks r34 gtr, run 9's down at kwinana... there's a plan
  18. How about a house? there's a good project And when you spend money on it, it generally increases in value
  19. extreme clutches I think. 25GTT whats the list of mods you have done to your car?
  20. I reckon $10k-$12k absolute max. Remember its a 1989 car, depending on its condition. For a few bucks more you can get a stock 180sx or silvia or for a bit more again you can get a r32 or r33 gtst. Given its fairly well modified, but you never get back what you spend on mods. Its a bit of a sleeper like daves volvo
  21. Just a general heads-up about this product. It seems, from what most people say, this is common of other tyre shine products. I think thats acceptable. I didnt go all out and critisise the company or product, I didnt "bad mouth" them. Armourall have agreed to refund my purchase and I'm happy about that. I've used their other tyre shine product, which can also be used on your dash/interior, on my tyres and it worked great, so I thought I'd give this one a try.
  22. Armourall extreme tyre shine. It doesnt stick on the tyre properly, consequensly it flies off the tyre and will go around the guards and when you wash the car the paintwork will go all specaly. My cars black so it wasnt too bad, but its damaged the paintwork (cut and polish should fix it) but it shouldnt have happened in the first place.

  24. I hate driving in peak hour traffic regardless of the clutch or not But yeah it does make driving harder in peak hour.
  25. 2600 pound? wow... you must be a glutton for punishment The 2400 pound plate is the same... I have to rev the car to around 1500-2000rpm and gently let the clutch out to get it to hookup, anything less and I get shudder and the car jerks along... so either way I look like a knob in peak hour traffic. This makes hill starts and rain a pain in the ass. Though not much you can do, as when you increase power you need a better clutch to handle it and without going to the extremes of a osgiken twin plate clutch (at around 2-3k) there isnt much else.
