  1. I agree this is an excellent price. I would buy it now and change the housing to suit so I could get full boost around 3500-3800rpm, but I wont be looking for a turbo for about 9 months. Still plenty of mods for me to do to prepare my car for the turbo Shame, as I've been looking at new garrett turbo's with an internal wastegate with a t3 flange so they bolt onto the stock manifold for around the same dosh as this one which has external wastegate and manifold. Great price, wish it was 9 months down the track unless I win lotto this weekend

  3. I agree with Gradenko. I am getting sick of the people posting "what exhaust should I buy" "are bovs any good" "which insurance company" etc etc etc without doing a bit of basic research first. Its not hard to search the forums for relavent topics and do a bit of reading. Think before you type... I like that I go to a lot of trade nights, canon, hewlett packard, nec, etc etc and its amazing some of the idiots we get who ask questions that were answered earlier in the night but they we too busy ****ing around to listen, or people ****ing around in general.
  4. See roy or ray at Kostera's in kalamunda, r34 put me onto him and he's fantastic. Go for dunlops, fm901's or if you can squeeze it a bit more SP9000 or the Super Sport series. I got the sp9000's on the rear and they made a huge difference to the overall stability of the car around corners etc. grip well too for the drags.

  14. After much umming and arrring, I have decided on a garrett turbo. I'd love a HKS or trust external wastegate, manifold jobbie etc etc etc... but I cant justify spending more on the turbo than I did to buy the car. The car cost me 550,000yen, a decent turbo kit with manifold and wastegate is close enough about the same.... just doesnt make sense. I'll be going a GT25 garrett with internal wastegate that bolts onto the std manifold. If I'm not happy after that, I'm buying a GTR No point in throwing more money at a gts25t when a stock gtr beats it already
  15. Launch techniques... mine sucks... whats the best way to get a 2.1 60' time? Lastnight I think I was revving to around 3000rpm and then dumping it, which resulting in the clutch spitting the dummy and have to shift into 2nd almost straight away. Slipping it gently around 3000rpm resulted in a 2.5 60' time. Any idea's guys? I think I might get ross @ perth clutch place to have a looksee and see if I have damaged his clutch, cos I'm sure the last-time I went (I was getting 2.4's, with it only being installed about 1-2 weeks prior) it was hooking up a lot better. Might be best to let someone like rev210 drive my car next time too, I suck

I could only manage to go 0.05 seconds faster than previously My 60' time is shocking; ET 14.067 Terminal Speed 103.68mph Reaction Time 0.735 60' 2.538 330' 6.288 660' 9.311 1000' 11.884 Back to the drawing board. I think maybe more suspension bits, a burn-out (as per rev210's directions) might be the call too. I dont think I'll be going down the plex again till I've done a bit more developmental work. Dump+front pipe, fix boost dropping (if possible) lightweight flywheel, then I might go down again.

  20. Thats nice price. I too have a black r33, not my choice of colour but when I was importing this one came up and was what I wanted in every way but colour so I took it anyway. I desperately need a good cut and polish (dont need the interior stuff, I do that myself) but I've never done a cut and polish myself and I'd rather get a pro to do it with a black finish (heard some bad stories of people doing their own black car).

  24. I heard some people like to tune cars rich so as they dont lean out too much and dont detonate. What ecu have you got killer-t? I was thinking bosch fuel pump, nismo regulator and a power fc in mine. I heard the malpassi wasnt too crash hot.
