the last time i incurred a fine was 2 years ago so not sure if things have changed but... Shouldn't the officer have given you an infringement notice there and then? AND if so, it should state the amount owing? Just my 2cents

G'day, I've got this loud, annoying clunking/knocking noise coming from the front passenger side of my manual R31 Skyline. Initially I got a pedders suspension check and they suggested new bushes AND struts, quoting $900 in total. I took it to another joint (Good Year) and they said only the bushes need replacing. They did this at a cost of $200 (inc wheel alignment). The car has driven much better since then, and the noise is less frequent, but still severe. It's certainly coming from the passenger side. Sounds like it's coming from either the wheel area or somewhere under the front passenger seat. I even emptied the glove box to make sure it wasn't from in there! Generally it only makes the noise when coming off throttle, in neutral (IE rolling towards traffic light) and braking, and it gets worse over bumps and going down an incline. Also, the noise is louder when there is someone sitting in the front passenger seat. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. I love my car but atm its embarassing driving ppl in it Cheers

I went there Monday and got told they don't have any 33s in stock. Said to come back in 6-8 weeks. BUT... they did have an r33 GTR out the back that had rust underneath. Phwoar the thing looked awesome. One day, I said to myself ;-)

My plates came with the r31 when i bought it. The front says MYSKY1 but the back is MYSKYI so my old man reckons it stands for My Sky-Line haha I guess we'll never know!

No kidding, yesterday I spent two hours looking for dealers in my area to try that! haha Anyway I think i'm takin a couple for a spin on the weekend so i'll let you know how it goes

Thanks for the tips. Kamikaze, I saw a stock one today and you're right, they're pretty high. And racin8 I can't really do this it's a shared driveway with about 10 other townhouses. James K i'll take a photo and post it up later and see if i get any feedback. It's just a steep descent and then levels out. Anyway, see how i go. Thanks again for your help. SAU rocks!

I'm looking at getting an R33 Gts-t (as close to stock as possible) BUT before i go ahead with this i just want to check that the front end won't scrape the ground when entering my driveway. I'm hoping someone can come check this for me? I live near the essendon train station and will be eternally grateful. I think it will be ok but want to make sure before i lash out 10-12k! I don't wanna park my baby on the street! Let me know if you can assist me PLEASE. Appreciate any feedback/help. Cheers!
