  1. well the brakes still work Ill find out tomorrow... Just got some springs/sway bars put in, and im in a fkd off mood coz alot of shit has been bent from when i was ran into the gutter...not m o t h e r f u c k i n g h a p p y j a n !
  2. Ive just put on goodyear f1 gs-d3's...fkn hetic
  3. As this may not be clear, the more boost u run, the more power u make. This also means the more pressure on the engine. Generally you'd want to run as low boost as possible (eg ebc, or some other boost controler) and when you want to run/etc, up the boost and play. This way, you keep the engine as stress free while still having fun when needs be.
  4. Mine seized a while back and smashed my radiator Any particular reason why u don't want to goto electric fans? Any major problems in doing so? Im thinking I might change soon depending on the problems, hate the sound of the clutch fan, and with a fmic in place electric maybe the way to go.
  5. Yeh wooden fell sums it up pretty well...I might try to get them machined tomorrow arvo if i can get it done cheaply. Im expecting to get the dba rotors so ill hold for those if not...pads are new to the degree of say 10,000k, ebc greenstuff, wouldnt buy them again. Also trying to track down some gear to bleed the brakes as its 1/2 full of water...not happy jan! Just as well this is a long weekend
  6. I think the s15s may use the same rotors as the 32s? Check dba for size specs
  7. Ive just recently gotten my car back on the road and the rotors are covered in shit which does not seem to come off... Ive taken it out for a run, warmed up the brakes, then done round 10 heavy stops, this being from say 120 down to 20k as hard as i can without locking up the wheels. Ive noticed braking doesn't feel very good at all (pedal holds but just doesn't feel like its doing all that much), and afterwards my brakes make a very noisy 'creeking' noise (eg stand outside the car, press brakes), its like a dry cracked sound. Also, looking at the fluid holder, there seems to be a top layer of water (yay.). Im planning on flushing the system asap, though if any1 had any suggestions on the above, thatd be great. Im looking at buying the new dba rotors asap, so getting the discs machined will be a waste.
  8. Yeh that seems more realistic Can see my hands coming off if i tried to make it myself...oh well.
  9. Ure pm box is full sydneykid! In regards to the coldair box for $60, what was the quality like? any pics? how long did it take them to make etc?
  10. Heres a great spot to learn As you know, the bigger the turbo, the more power you have. Though the more lag you get due to its size. So basically you have to pick what power you want, and pick the smallest turbo to make that power. Easier said than done, though theres plenty of info here from ppl that have done it and their advice
  11. I think on an rb20 that turbo would fit under the ****ing huge department. Im going with an 2530 or perhaps a gt-rs...should make 230~240...You may wish to read more into turbos?
  12. i went to croydon, never went back. Hills motor sport all the way
  13. yeh alirght, me 4... Im going to do my brake lines on a similar note, "speed bleed" tools seem to be the bomb for ease of use, maybe similar.
  14. Looking at that, they're both very similar (?), Would the difference in acc. be all that noticeable?
  15. argh not good, sorry to hear....what alarm was in the car?!?!?
