$50 is much cheaper than $440min (if i was going to buy new rotors i would get the dba 4000). 1 side question, DBAs website says original thickness - 30mm, min thickness, 28mm. So with abit of wear, and then having them machined, theres not going to be a great deal left?!?!

QQ, What sorta prices have you seen to machine rotors? Ive just gotten 2 quotes, 1 for 60 per rotor, and another for 27. Seemed abit steep just to spend 5 minutes shaving some metal...? I will have the rotors off the car.

I think realisticly, they'd be more or less the same. Lots of people have reported that sr20s respond better to mods...

www.dba.com.au You can pickup r32 slotted rotors for around 230 each i think. These are the 4*** series, which are the best you'll find from DBA (apart from the rexy 5*** 2 peice etc). Alot of ppl have said they're pretty good. You can also find 2nd hand stock rotors with meat around.

You might want to verify the cheque with the bank before going further. Theres always the chance they could be forged/stolen etc etc, so call the bank, valiacdate the number and the amount.

Was the eagle f1 the "ds-g3" version? think theyre the highest? I have them on my front and theyre crazy...

Heh its all in now, though it took them forever to get the nut off, had me worried for a sec To be honest I havn't noticed anything special yet. Still feels just as notchy and 2nd takes abit of time to get in when giving it. I've only done 20k, though I expected it to work straight away(?). He had 2 juniors do it and while pumping the oil in, the hose came off the pump, leaving the other with nice thick blue oil all over his face was funny, though not considering the price of the oil

Thanks guys! I spoke to a few in that list b4 hand and some had no clue... Ive found a place now that will do a gal for around 110, and will get the local mechanic to do it. Unique had it for $30 a litre and charged $98/hour CRD had it for $25 and grunted "just leave it herr and come back later" Didn't really want to do it myself...gbox seems a bitch to get to and i can see myself spilling it all over my driveway

Im trying to get the shockproof oil *and* some1 to put it in tomorrow. I can't find any1 that actually has it and is open on sats. Shout out if you know any mechanics that work sat mornings and usually stock this gear.

Meguiers make a really good product called "paint removal" I used it to get all the white taxi paint outa my when i got sideswipped, did a great job. I think its around $20 a bottle, smells nice, and can be picked up places like autobarn etc. Even though you got wet paint compared to mine, i think it will still do a great job.
