hey guys, dont wanna be a party pooper, but changing steering wheels that have air bags, whether hooked up or not is a huge ADR (australian design rules) complience no-no, and if the cops in your state are smart enough, they can permanently defect your car. Have seen supra drivers buy air bagged steering wheels to instal into earlier models not having airbags as standard including all compulsory units and very few engineering workshops in perth (i can only speak for perth) will touch the case. So chase this up with your transport authority departments or risk having massive fines and also having insurances on your vehicles revoked. well, sorry again Slav

haha, no skids here, just handbrake turns, well that makes me feel better, i dont know how the 245 will sit, the 275's sit pretty flush on the rear. the car does get quite a workout. i track it regularly and semi slick 275's cost me a kidney last time i bought them. anyways, youve opened up a whole new world of tyre choice for me... thanks all i can do is --->

would you consider trade on gmax enigmas 18x9.5's rear and 18x8.5s front, tyres same condition as yours (search forum for pics) cheers slav

enigmas are a 18 x 9.5 rear, wearing 275/35's and fronts are 18 x 8.5's wearing 235/40 if i remember correctly. looking for trade on smaller rims also, as per for sale thread thanks for the info dude, helps heaps slav

Hi ppls I've retired my car from the road and am not needing 18 inch wheels for the track. Therefore i am trading my Gmax Enigma rims for something smaller. i have included pics of the rims, there is the tiniest gutter rash on the rear left, wouldnt notice it unless you were under the wheel. They are a shadow chrome wheel. the rims have massive dish and are at the moment fitted with 275/35/R18 wide tyres on the rear (ventus sport 104's) and the fronts are 235/40/R18 (maxxis radials) fronts have a fair amount of tread, rears are on wear indicators. The wheels absolutely set a 33 off, they sit flush with the guards, and do not need spacers to fit, front brake clearance is about 2.8mm as per last wheel alignment. offset is +35 In conclusion, submit your rim pics in reply to this forum or pm me with pics. i am looking for 17inch diameter,16 's considered if they are excellent and can clear the 33's brakes. i'm ok with cash my way or your way. thanks for looking Slav

i'm sick of paying $600 for good tyres that are 275 wide, i run gmax enigma rims, and the rears are a killer. so i've decided to stick with something smaller and get even better tyres..... still less than half price of pirellis! so i have my eye on the standard r32 gtst wheels (wheel pic attached) and i was wondering if they can clear the 33 gtst brakes... ANY help would be excellent, cheers!!!! Slav
