  1. For sale I have a front mount intercooler, bought it for current project car Corolla but it's slightly longer than what I require. It's got opposite inlet/outlet heights which is why I bought it but disappointed to find it will not suit my application so my loss is your gain. 600x280x90 core 2.5 inlet and outlet. $150 Melbourne pick-up only (between greensborough & heidelberg) Paul 0 4 2 2 seven 2 seven 8 seven 1
  2. If you would be willing to sell front rotors seperate from the calipers, please PM me a price. I'm in Melbourne so would be picking them up. Cheers, Paul.
  3. Keen on just rotors if they're 296mm as you say, but R32 GTR came with 324mm rotors from what I can tell...
  4. Judging by the DBA site what I can gather is the non turbo 34 has the 296 diameter rotor but the turbo version has 310mm. Are yours from a turbo or non turbo? can you measure? Also if you've got a vernier to measure the thickness that will help determine what I'm willing to pay. Minimum thickness is 28mm so if they're anything around that size I will not offer a lot but if it's closer to the original 30mm thickness I will pay accordingly...
  5. I have sourced some calipers, but still chasing used/second hand rotors.
  6. What size are the studs/nuts? Couldn't you just press in another stud? For example if it were M8 originally and the spline in the alloy plate is chewed out it could be re-drilled and a larger stud pressed in? If you have just the plate seperate I can press a stud in...
  7. By bolt do you mean stud? The type that has a spline and points up through the strut tower? Show photo of how it was cut. Why don't you want to press a new stud in?
  8. Front rotors available or long gone?
  9. Thanks for the offer dori34 but I'm chasing the 296mm diameter rotors not the 324mm. It's only going to be stopping a 900kg Corolla after all. PJ-33 you have PM.
  10. Are you in Melbourne? I'm after some brake rotors...
  11. Could be worth machining them flat, but if that fails and you do end up replacing yours, can I have the old ones? I'm happy to pay postage. Example of a slotted pair for sale new... http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Nissan-Skyline-R33-R34-T-GTS-RDA-Slotted-Disc-Rotors-/110802104132?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item19cc51ef44
  12. Hey folks, I'm mocking up a front brake upgrade for a corolla at the moment. I've got some R33 hubs so I can do a cad drawing I'm just needing some old brakes to see if it will work / how well it is going to mount up. Undersize thickness rotors are fine as long as they're the 296 diameter type not the 280. Anybody got their old brakes sitting around they want to get rid of? I'm in Melbourne northern suburbs and willing to pick them up. Any help appreciated, cheers. Paul.
  13. I would have thought that if one person speeds and the cop has a radar reading for that particular road user, it is for him and him only. You should be able to get out of your fines (you and both friends) if you contest it together. If all 3 of you were to get booked also I would think he needs to prove it with individual radar readings. Compare time of day with your friends fines. Dad got out of a radar detected fine a few years ago because the second cop at the scene cleared the radar and started trying to catch next person, then he asked if he could see the reading as he didn't believe he was speeding. Long story short, he went to court and got out of it because the cop at the scene couldn't prove he had been speeding as the reading had been cleared. If you have a good driving record as well as being polite and presenting well at court that should help your cause also...
