FS: Mini Z R34 Nissan Skyline GTR (Silver) + parts
JiMb0 replied to JiMb0's topic in For Sale (Other Items)
I'd probably have to set reserve for the lot at $200.00 .... considering new price of crappy Mini-Z's (Toyota Echo) is $199.00, and remembering that the batteries for this thing almost cost $90.00 alone. If your interested feel free to view the Hobbyco Website (http://www.hobbyco.com.au/product_groups/s...hp?grp=212&sid=) You'll see that better models like the Evo VI go for $269.00, so your certainly getting a bargain at $200.00 ... -

Pics will be available tomorrow (gotta get to work to get them off the server) .... Neo, these are a little more expensive than a Bit Char-G but I purchased this instead of one .... Much bigger, faster and more fun. Also range on the remote is huge ... initialD : Maybe, I'll see if people buying the car want the motor, if not then you'll be first on my list for it. -
I got there about 20 mins before the group left ... walked in grabbed a pizza and ate it on the curb, had some work to take care of on the mobile and figured it was best I do it and get it outta the way rather than come in, sit down and have to ignore everyone Was also running late due to an accident of Burns Bay road, police shut it down from just a little over the Gladesville bridge, so had to take a long way around.

That's just a heavy duty clutch for you ... depending on what clutch it is it's probably a button clutch tho, so either on or off. The reason it's going clunk is because your trying to ride it and not giving it enough revs. Atleast thats what I've found, same thing happens to me sometime when I'm entering my complex at 5am and trying not to wake the neighbors .. it's just the pickup, sounds like somethings about to fall off your car eh

Degreaser wont hurt the paint ? I'm too scared to even use degreaser on the blue insides on my rims, let alone on the body of the car .... it wont do anything tho ?

Hey all, Just wondering what everyone out there who runs a little rich does to get the damn brown stain off their bumper without hurting the paint. Open to ideas and before anyone asks, Power FC is waiting to go in at the moment so no suggestions like get proper air/fuel management ....

Hmmm, I'll give it a try

I now use Shell Eco10 ... Used to use Shell Helix Ultra 5w-40, but find the car runs better on Eco10 ...

Recently I've noticed a few annoying noises in my car which I can't place and don't have the technical know-how to fix. Basically theres a rattle from the rear parcel shelf and a high pitched squeak coming from my passenger door when driving over moderate changes in the road. These are really starting to get to me and was wondering if theres someone out there who can hunt out and fix these problems. I'd assume in this day and age there would be people who specialise in sound deadening of sorts, stopping rattles etc. Any ideas ? Located in the Sydney area. It's just too hard to try and find the problem yourself whilst driving to try and create the situation where the noise occurs ...

Indeed .. nice cruise, wish I could have been there on the way down but glad I found you all at Pep's ..... I've made a formal report to the police also about the gang of "Taxi Racers" cruising the streets in a wee hours of the morning ... Channel 7 will have a report on these hoons soon

Sold to Sanousie at $195.00 + pickup *SOLD* Basically as the topic states. Would be fantastic for a first car as it comes with everything required (no need to go out and buy $90 worth of batteries) and also other parts to fit in the future. Only ever driven around an office against BitCharG's for a total of two battery charges worth of driving as I work in an environment where we deal with cars day in day out, so it was only natural to organise an office race off. Would like to sell as an entire package if possible. Located in Sydney but I'm sure that AustPost can cater for interstate buyers. Comes with all original manuals (still in packet), box, display case, cones etc (all still in packet). The only slight modification made to the vehicle is on the front bar where excess material was surgically removed to allow better clearance. Details as follow - 1 x Kyosho R34 Nissan Skyline GTR (Silver) + Remote Control 1 x Kyosho X-Speed Motor Part #MZW8V(still in packet never fitted) 1 x Kyosho Packet of Wide Tire Set Part #MZW17-20 (4 Tires still in packet never fitted) 8 x Digitor NiMH HR6 1.2V 1700mAH AA Rechargable Batteries (for Remote Control) 4 x Digitor NiMH HR03 1.2V 700mAH AAA Rechargable Batteries (for Mini Z) Make an offer ..... Pictures available on request. For more information either PM, e-mail to [email protected] or call 0403 44 33 44. Sold to Sanousie at $195.00 + pickup *SOLD*

My First Skyline's guide to changing your oil and oil filter in an R33.
JiMb0 replied to Sciby's topic in General Maintenance
I actually went with a 2 washer approach. Back to back ... Fibre against the sump, Copper against the plug. I mean you can't go wrong right ? -

Guys, after our little talk on the washer the other day. What does eveything use ? Fibre or Copper ? I have both available but fibre just seems to be the way to go. I previuosly had what looks to be a rubber o-ring which has lasted the distance but not sure if I should be using rubber or not due to heat of the sump. Any ideas ? -
You guys could type underwater ... damn .... btw quick question for all while your all here .. Sump plug washer .. go fibre or copper ?

Scar, whilst I agree with most of your comments, how many skyline owners do you know that don't have to jack up their car to change the oil ? -
I'm up for it, even tho I gotta be up at 6am for a dyno day and I turn 20 (finally) on Saturday ..... No sleep all weekend, big piss up Saturday night .... I'm going to be ****ed on Monday

I'd be interested in how much hills charge, I'm about to get the car dyno tuned at hills and might aswell get the injectors cleaned first at the same time.
