  1. Whats in it :?:
  2. Sort of ... In the way that you keep in contact with all friends, some even changing skools with you, you start off at the new school wary and try not to make a bad impression, then you start acting like yourself again after a while and everyone learns what a whack you really are .... Not a personal experience ...
  3. Anyone have pics or info on the crash last week ?
  4. Hehehe, but your a clown Christian so it shouldn't matter Have you seen my thread on clear indicator installation yet ?
  5. I still love my Sky's bum better
  6. Hehehe, I know. I don't really want it that low though, and I certainly don't wish to use the bags for bouncing. Just sick of having the get the front lip resprayed and looking for a permanent alternative so I can take on anything that happens to be of marginal height.
  7. Nice car, more info here http://www.canadiandriver.com/previews/lm.htm
  8. You have quite a proven and valid point, I retract my previous statement in light of the new evidence of which you have put forth. Good show
  9. Budget would be up to $3000, however could possibly go to $4000. I believe I have two main options for lowering and raising the vehicle either being through hyrdaulic pumps or air bags. The bags seem to be the cheaper of the two options, and I've also been advised they would be the best as if a bag blows the cars suspsneison is still fully functional, where as if a pump goes, not only do you have oil all over the place, but the ride will be hard as. Another benefit of the bags is that they don't require a boot full of batteries to power. I'm not sure where I would be able to have these fitted though. I'd certainly be more interested in having the car lower with a full kit from Whiteline and bags installed on all 4 points to raise and lower the entire vehicle for obstacle navigation than to have to raise the ride height at all times. Has anyone attempted such on their Sky ? or any other vehicle for that matter.
  10. I'm taking notes as we go along here, so after fitting new pads it's always good to do 200-500k of regular driving so not to glaze them ?
  11. So by definition this would not class as an abode ? Maybe more of an Convergence or Assemblage
  12. Although I will be taking the car to the drags occasionally, I'd rather have the car set up for handling, I want something that will stick around corners. I have 18" rims on at the moment so it's not really the quickest off the line to start with. At the end of the day I want something I can pull through a corner hard without the fear I'm going to lose the back. I'd also like it a little higher than current as at the moment my front lip scrapes exiting my driveway at any angle and I havn't tried taking on any speed bumps yet  Think BMW handling, and you've got it in one.
  13. Cool, so maybe EBC Greenstuff pads and DBA slotted rotors. Has anyone had any experience with the other types of EBC pad ? The car will be used mainly for everyday, however I can see in the near future that it will be visiting the track alot more often. Would any other color EBC pad suit this use better than Green ?
  14. Akira, what pack did you get and if you don't mind me asking how much did it cost ? Did you install yourself ? Is it worth installing any suspension kit by yourself, or should it be completed by those who know what they're doing ?
  15. /me puts his baggy pants and clown shoes back in the wardrobe.
  16. What does everyone think of this combination ? Any other other combination suggestions ? Slotted or cross-drilled for the rotors ? Need Info 8O
  17. OK, so maybe not a performance mod as such (10 kW I swear :!: ) however just wondering if anyone knows how I go about getting the old indicators out and the clear side indicators in. Prank, give us a hand would ya !!
  18. OK all you suspension guru's out there. Basically I just want to hear some comments from people on either side of the fence in regards to Whiteline or Tein suspension. I'm looking for something that will stick to the road, and also be fully adjustable as I'd like it a little higher than current due to the front lip scraping on the drivway :x Any comments you have are welcome :!:
  19. You moonlight as a taxi driver too ?
  20. Hehehe wouldn't we all ... Any takers ?
  21. Cool, I have a hardware house like 2 mins walk from my place. I'll have to try and find an AutoBarn though. I'd really like to get my hands dirty and learn more about it so in the future working on the car will be second nature. I'd also like to confirm things that were on the auction report such as the 550 cc injectors, the turbo (not sure if it's aftermarket or not), the ECU (would you believe I don't have a single tool at my new place so removing it from it's bracket is a little hard ) I'm going to buy a digital camera once my redundancy comes through also, so pics shouldn't be too hard to get. Hehe taking my rims off to replace with stock for my blue slip is the closest I've got to working on the car so far  Would a pair of overalls and one of those flat rolling gizmo's you lay on be a good investment too ?
  22. HAhaha not all of us 18 y/o's are punks
