Worst part about this Excel was he came up next to me (I was watching him in my mirror) and then he gives me a little bit from his BOV. I was like, eh, your joking right ? It's like a 5 y/o walking into the mens room of a major hotel and announcing that he too has a dick ??? Seriously, we're both travelling 90 km/ph, what really is the point in venting next to me ? He then showed his superior driving skills by cutting across 3 lanes infront of me, only to mind that it was indeed me letting him back on the motorway when his lane ran out 300 m later and had a broken down truck parked halfway in it I shouldn't have pointed it out to him but it would have been a waste of a good truck. At the moment I have no idea what sort of power is there. I took her for a nice little "spirited" run around an industrial area about 5 this morning and it looks like I'm running about .8 - .9 bar, but I'd have idea on the RWKW. I'll be getting her dyno tuned hopefully at either Hills Motorsport of Croydon Autosports so I'll let you know how things go. Might take a bit tho, waiting for a bit of $$$ at the moment :oops: As for the polishing, sure I'd love to know what you did ! 3 days I'd be more than happy to put aside to polish away :!:

It's going as expected. The car is just as I had hoped for, unfortunately I think the driver leaves a lot to be desired :oops: but hopfully this will come with practice. It's not everyday you go from driving a Liteace to a Skyline 8) At the moment she's looking rather stocky due to taking a lot of things off for the third Tier inspection. However I will be putting everything back over the ext two weeks, and hopefully getting engineers certificates for the most common things that the cops will try and defect me for, just to make my life a little easier. I thinik I'll leave the clutch, just because I'm prolly copping out blaming the hardware for my failure to understand how to use it together to get the take off I'm after in differing conditions. HopefullyI can get some pointers off you veterans

What sort of seats do you have in at the moment Prank ?

Car = Check All Complianced, Rego'd and ready to go !! (even ask that EVO wanna-be Excel on the M4, god he deserved what he got !) I gave my car a really good wash the other day and over with a genuine chamoi (god they feel weird when they're wet eh). Then did the windows and rims. Came up quite nicely, but unfortunately the car does have minor scratches in the paint from previous cleaning I'd like removed, which is why I was after the cut and polish, that and I have no idea how to polish a car :roll: When you say you sprayed down the engine bay ... with what ? I know it sounds stupid but I'm a stupid kinda guy ! Water ? What degreaser did you use ? How did you polish the cam covers etc ? The hooker on the corner knows more about polishing than I do What tools and equip you use ? Pics would be great !!! Any before / after shots ? We'll have to go cruisin some time !!!

Seems to be some nice wide roads in Silverwater's industrial estates, as well as those around Hills Motorsports ... I'll keep you up to date of drifting action :!: I'll be a certain turn up at the next organised track day or down the skid pan, we'll have to give it a whirl.

I want to come but I havn't had the alarm fitted to the vehicle yet (or any anti-theft device for that matter :evil: ) So my baby is staying under lock and key at a Kennards Self Storage location until such a time as the Quik Track and Brant systems are fitted.

Hi Guys ! Just wondering who has had their vehicle detailed. eg Cut n' Polished, engine bay detailed, etc ? Any comments on the finished products ? Pictures ? I'm looking to get the vehicle Cut & Polished and the engine bay cleaned up (polishing the piping, maybe the rocker covers) and maybe the muffler and xaust tip polished. Any information you have would be appreciated.

I just got my Skyline, therefor havn't completed too many oil changes on it as yet However my plan from what I've heard is Mobil 1 for me, every 5000 k's. We'll see how it goes eh.

ARghhh I want a clutch that will allow me a better ride in peak hour. Currently have a Nismo Twin Plate clutch, and I'm sick of stalling the freaking thing in peak hour (how embarrassing :x ) I'm used to my Toyota Liteace with it's lose clutch, I couldn't stall it if I tried. This Nismo Twin Plate has a "sweet spot" about the size of a pin head :twisted: It's either a delayed take off, a schreech n jerk, or a stall. Not to mention the bunny hopping it likes to do in first. I might be completely wrong in thinking it's my clutch causing the bunny hopping action, but I just want something that makes me look a fool in peak hour, with less trffic at night and early mornings it's all fine because you can get a nice launch from the lights without the worry of all three lanes infront blocked and a bus infront of you :roll: Any ideas ? I think I'll need to go cruising with you guys who are a little more technical so I can try and work out whats wrong (prolly just whats between the seat and the steering wheel eh !)
