  3. I had a shitload more done than that so I ended up with a small fortune as a bill As I said, the timing belt will cost $89.82 + GST and Labour.
  4. I totally forgot sorry Duncan, work has been too busy at the moment to even think straight.
  5. At the moment have people looking at all four, and also looking at buying either the fronts or the rears together ..... would really like to sell as a set of four, however happy to split if I have buyers for all tyres. I'm really not sure what they go for, however as you can see from the pictures they still have a lot of rubber left. Ballpark I'd be looking at $800.00 ono I guess ... $220.00 each for the 245's, $180.00 each for the 225's. I'm not sure if that's reasonable. I guess brand new, a set of 225/40ZR 18 Falken Azenis ST115's will set you back $280 each from Tempe Tyres ... Any feedback would be appreciated, as I have said before, certainly oopen to offers.

    cops!

Damn, has anyone been pulled over yet ? I'm just in the process at the moment of re-legal-izing my car as best I can .....
  9. Maybe stick one of those little Taco Bell bobbing head dogs on it with superglue ... .... when you go to sell the car, tell the guy that you wont take any more money for the free gift you've included, even though you're unhappy to part with the novelty, you feel the car is nothing without the dog and therefor it must stay. Problem solved !!! Must I think of everything
  10. Call Mark at Hills Motorsport in Castle Hill (02) 8802 0777, he should sort it out .... Should be about $89.82 + GST and Labour (Labour I think is $88 p/hour, not sure how long it takes though). I just had all my belts replaced in a major service of sorts, P/S, Timing, A/C, Alt .......
  11. hehee, he confirmed receipt of my message so I think he got the idea .... hotino : next time for sure mate, we just need to make sure there is actually a cruise happening
  12. Well I gave in once to their request to let her go down the main street ... I almost gave it another go from the other end however my wits got the better of me, just as I was warming for the run out of a roundabout, decided to keep going round and off to the right ..... ... just as I casually did so, who do I but Mr.Plod in my rear view mirror :uh-huh: I'm sure if I had decided to lose some traction it would not have been too pleasant on the wallet.
  13. Just to keep the story going. Went to QLD this weekend, stopped over in Armadale .... cops there were fantastic also ... I arrived a little late in the evening, were a lot of drunk Uni students around, and about 6-7 cop cars (2 unmarked). First the Uni students were great, I think I shook hands with about 20 of them, I kept getting commodores full of them coming up and asking me a lot of questions, escorting me around to the Shell and Eagle Boys, they were really genuine, really liked the car, almost got me in a lot of trouble ... take note, do not try to impress Uni students Just to give a group of them a bit of show, torched their mate, even after spinning first second and third ..... settled after that and just cruised around. Stuck to the speed limit, not a prob in the world, even pulled a cop over at 1:00am to ask him if he knew any motels / inns that were staffed 24/7 so I could crash and he helped me out .... Talk about role reversal ... Top night, I scored $55 and a flash of a lass' chest (some guys paid me to give them a lift, just to be seen in the car, only 300m ... the lass I can't explain, I think it was the car more than me ) I'm starting to think cops in general are pretty alright ...
  14. hotino, my mobile is 0403 44 33 44 however as the rest of the guys here have mentioned, this cruise was in Feb, I meant next time theres a cruise / meet we should meet up and I'll show you ... hope you see this post, I'm just about in QLD atm, bit of a roadtrip, nowhere near Ashfield

  17. hotino, if you need help, I live in Ashfield right behind the BP (near maccas, taco bell, etc) .... more than happy to meet up with you to show the way if you like ....
  18. Ahhh, Ed, don't you already have a front bar and bonnet ??
  19. Few points .... * 9:30 start is way too late if we want to get to the Hunter by lunch, also by traffic will be up by then (and the boys in blue) * up the F3 ? Where's the fun in that ? What happened to Putty Road ?
  20. Do you have pics of the actual part you are selling ? eg not pics from the HKS website ...
  21. aw11, I did sorta the same thing ... cept my mother stole the power cable to the computer, so instead of doing the smart thing and realising that the kettle used the same cord type, I used three coasthangers which I bent out (I was only like 12, gimme a break) ... Well, you guessed it it was all working fine until I decided my hand belonged next to me instead of on the desk, course the computer was also next to me with streaming 240 volts care of the coathangers .... Hand went down, thankfully safety switch caught it, however hand went up straight into a running fan ... felt the electricity go down my arm and to my chest, arm and hand was numb for a good 5 mins or so, only after did I reliase how much damage the fan did to my fingers
  22. Hehe, you're not alone, I just put a screwdriver in to the top of my left hand (installing an Apexi POD) ... was tightening one of those metal band thingies which you screw to tighten, was taking too long, was tired, slipped ......... need "ice ice baby"
  23. Thankyou for clearing that up Chaos ..... now for my reaction ... W-w-w-w-w- wHaattt THE ? I mean I thought maybe the whole not getting insurance before the car thing was a little crazy ... but I've never heard of someone getting a car before they even have the most basic form of license. I don't get it
  24. Isn't there a guy on the forums who is 17 and just had his parents buy him an R34 N/A ?
