hey decided to go for a full trust kit but wondered where the blinkers go? im pretty sure its illegal not to have front blinkers, but i cant see them in a trust kit! am i blind or do you cut your own holes into the bar?

i got both of mine for $400each at jap parts center in lansvale. i was just stoked i got 2 for under a grand. i think the nissan guys in tempe can get brand newies too..but not sure...

dont have them on me - but try searching for car-parts/wreckers in lansvale on yellowpages.com or maybe whitepages. either of them should help you out. ill sort through all my receipts to find where i got mine and ill let ya know.

Ive read a few previous threads about kill/fuel cut switches. Im ok mechanically, but im an electrical retard. So i was wondering what the go is with kill switches. tell me where im going wrong: you take the negative wire from your ignition and wire to a switch that only you know where it is. So you only need to hold the switch when starting because that is the ground/earth wire ? is it a simple job to do? is it worthwhile? Can anyone tell me the exact cables i need to get and where abouts in the looms i need to take it from? a couple of posts a while back ive found that people recommend putting these in after ghuys have had their cars stolen/broken into, so it seems like a pretty good idea, i just can't find exact info on how to go about doing it.

hey guys... im new to nsw, and ive done a little bit of work on my skyline so i wanted to take it for a nice long drive...except i dont know where to go! I live out near richmond so ive been up the putty road and bells line...does anyone know any other cool drives? (i tried searching for previous threads, no luck, just incase this been covered before)

id love to find a clutch for $500. i cant find lower then 2 grand!

where do oil coolers usually go? are they really worth it? i was looking round for a good place i was thinking maybe infront of the rh wheel guard (factory front bar)???

ermm i know its a bit out of the way but theres a gazillion jap wreckers in lansvale in sydney. literally every second place driving down the main road is a jap wrecker. i got my new bonnet same colour for $50. good condition too, just needed a wash!

im new to the skyline scene, about 4 months now, today is my first day on sau, and i noticed something when im driving round in my pride and joy. this might sound a little silly, but im absolutly loving it when i pass another skyline and theres a swapping of waves and flashing of lights. brilliant. as opposed to other skyline drivers who jsut give you the middle finger and a lame burnout sometimes. d*ckheads. to those peolpe that wave - good on ya - ill be waving back. having a skyline is like being in an exclusive club, and for those people that abuse it - for shame. good to be here!

lol it took me like 4 months to figure that out. everytime id pressed it my antenna would move and i was convinced something was wrong in the wiring or something, so i took it to a nissan guy only to find out thats what the button is for. ill never forgeet his qoute: "i usually charge people for troubleshooting.....but in your case....we'll just let this problem go for free" i couldn't get out of there quick enough...

hey guys - today is my first day on sau so not sure if this is the right place for this... but bought a momo gearknob and boot, and thought about momo steering wheel and pedals and the like...and only now after ive bought and fitted it all ive realised im driving a japanese car with italian interior? i mean - im committing a sin! should jap cars stay true to the jap theme? i think my skyline has an identity crisis...i was just after everyones thoughts/opinions...???

yeah man mine was tight the first time, but its so loose now i had to drop a bit of araldite on the thread, i just use vice grips to undo it everytime i need to, clean the thread out with hot water and a paddlepop stick and then re-araldite it when im doing it back off... i only goto to extremes because i had a nasty experience where my gearknob was so loose i just pulled it straight off coming down from warp speed and into the back of another dudes ute not happy jan.

haha can't help but i am in the exact same boat dude. i was coming home from a gloria jeans run when 2 large cappucinos and a mango chiller went all over me, my seat and my passenger seat. 2 x shampoo's later and i still get a horrible smell and crazy stain...so i want to get some bride ergo's too. where did you buy your seats from? would recaro or sparco rails fit bride seats?

yeah i paid $270 for momo knob and boot - i ended up undoing the stitching and piercing my own holes to fit over the old ones as well. i was pretty filthy that i had to do that, but you just gotta be careful when your undoing it over and over again to do different jobs inside your dash or if your doing any gerbox/clutch work.

the top secret stuff looks nuts. i think carmate.com.au do fairly cheap kits painted + fitted. i been trying to find suppliers of top secret bars for s2. no luck!

i had just my bonnet done and it cost $400 and 4 days. Im looking at getting my roof done too - so if you have any luck let me know!
