I'm torn. Mine are leaking like f**k but I want to replace them with 600-750cc injectors sooner or later. Plus Boostworx is chucking the car on the dyno Monday as I've found a Mines ecu under my kick panel. So I'd rather have everything up to scratch before he checks my AFRs

Is it a kinda grindy noise? I have a similar noise at low rpm, kinda sounds like its coming from the gearbox or front dif.

See I bought the car dead stock in October last year. The car had only been over here for a few months when I bought it. The car belonged to an Australian working as a teacher who was planning to move back here so he sent the car to Australia then never returned so his dad (who is living here) had to sell it. I've got all the service receipts and I think I have a receipt here from Nismo Japan for a timing belt change at 114,000km and when I bought the car it had 114,800km. I took a guess at maybe the timing is advanced to high because it might of been tuned for Japanese higher RON petrol? But I am in no way mechanically minded so I've really got no idea.

Apparently according to these two engine bay photos my Ignition timing is advanced all the way and I should retard it to 'be safe' Could they be correct? Am I possibly risking my motor?

Haha looks exactly like mine did last October - Dead stock GTR. Everyone tries to pay me out about "you sure you want to drive it, I mean you wouldn't want to spin a bearing' etc. But who cares what other people think, your money you spend it how you want. Just remember to ditch the ceramics asap!

Everyone goes 'waaa waaa waaa' when they get defected, I'm not going to lie I did too. But its just what comes with these cars now, so I'm not going to mod my car with the idea "oh no I'll get defected for that' (obviously I'm not gonna roll around with a hi mounted T51R SPL or something) but a even a standard 32/33 GTR won't pass the DB test.

That is how my old R32 sat as a daily for 5/6 months until I sold those wheels to Damo, never got a look ever. Never was pulled over looking like that either.

Whats the point of worrying about if your tires are legal? I got defected for the XD9 because they had stretched tires on them. They were in track still but I still got done. So there is no point in not getting the wheels you want because "as soon as a cop sees them your gone" because he'll just find something other than your wheels to get you for.
