All that money spent and its rolling on bob jane ROH wheels. They don't even look the same size all round (plenty of dish on rear and nothing on the front)
Yeah was just told the actuators won't open any further than what they are set too normally and a boost controller will sort that out. When you started running higher boost did you have any other problems? Or need a tune?
no boost controller. I got a blitz 1 sitting here that I was going to use on my old gtst. Should work on the 26 shouldn't it? Or will I need one for a 26?

okay so I bought this 32r last october. fitted trust frontpipes and kaki regu catback. other than that its a standard GTR. I start reading about the 'boost restrictor' this morning so I figure I'll have a look to see if I still got it. I checked both hoses that run into the solenoid and I can't feel it in there so I'm not to sure but my opinion is that its been removed. I do some follow up research and find that removing it should see me at 1 bar or 14psi and that on the standard GTR gauge that +7 should be 14psi. I decide to take my car around the block to see where it gets to on the gauge and it just passes the middle bar between 0 and +7 which at a guess would mean I'm running the standard 10psi. Now my question is what could possibly be stopping it running at 14psi and which of the two hoses to the solenoid should the restrictor be in? I've been told its marked with a yellow stripe which I've found to be the top hose thats one the bottom of the solenoid, but others tell me that its in the thicker harder hose that comes off the right of the solenoid and goes under the plenum.
Yeah I might quickly go see Shaun and see what he thinks about it. I don't care that I'm only running 10psi, I'm just more worried about that if the restrictor isn't there, then why isn't it hitting that 1bar. Even with a turbo back exhaust it shoud be a little higher so who knows.
Back to my issue. Wayne seems to think maybe the two hoses on my car are hooked up the wrong way on the solenoid and that i should try swapping them. Nothings gonna go bang if i do this? Like if the hoses are the right way and I've swapped em over its not going to reverse the pressure into somewhere and make it pop?
Which hose is the restrictor in? The bottom or the top?
this picture seems to be pointing to the bottom one which is the thicker of the two. But the top one on my car is thinner and has the yellow stripe that everyone says the restrictor is in.
I'm confused. But if its not there and I'm not running 1Bar on my standard guage.. it opens up a whole list of problems I could have..
Okay I pulled the hose off with the yellow stripe and I can't feel anything in the hose when I squeeze it. That would tell me that the thing isn't there. But when boosting my standard gauge only goes to the 2nd to last bar on the gauge..
What do we think is going on?
Guys I think I still have the standard boost restrictor in the R so I want to remove it. Do I just unplug the hose and squeeze the restrictor out or cut the hose before the restrictor and rejoin it?
I was suprised with all the evos actually! Some running quicker than Chad with alot less power! Goes to show how important brakes and tires are over outright power
