Did exactly that one night at the Lakes. Walked out after tea and saw a cop car parked right next to mine with the passenger looking into my car. I just walked on past said good evening and kept going. Sat down by the lake for a good 30 minutes,came back to the car, no cops in sight so I got in and drove home. Easy.

Oh well. Cop the defect on the chin. Have noticed increased heat lately, had a few cops giving me the eye,hard. But luckily I'm working heaps, so not driving around as much!

Drove to Cape Jervis yesterday for something to do. Had a P-plater commodore follow me all the way down, up my ass all the way. Nearly wanted to pull over and knock him one afew times. Trying to drift in the hills while your up someone's ass isn't a good idea. Nearly rear-ended me afew times. Oh and Ryan, I know my desperate attempts to get flamage was piss weak. But with stock motor and boost I'd be lucky to pop some flames. Managed to do it coming down the Express Way yesterday while driving next to a Legnum. He gave me a smile and thumbs up after them so I was impressed. I'll ask Santa for a PFC for Christmas!

Craig, continuing from the accident thread. I get looks and sAfrican Americans all the time man. Every from my own family, especially my dad. One night at tea we were sitting down eating and I was telling him something about my car. He got up and walked into the kitchen came back with the bin and put it on the table then said to me "Here, put your money in here" and walked out.

Oh I know this already. I also know how much the general public looks down on us aswell. Driving into a few places and with the louder exhaust you just get scofs and tisk's from everyone. I can't see how a Government can choose what kinda car I have to buy because I'm a p-plater and I can see if a restriction law was passed, how often I'd get pulled up because of the P-plates. I think if one was passed, it just might be enough for me to buy a daily. Even though I would hate it because I bought my skyline to be driven everyday. But the constant police attention the restrictions would bring on would just be enough to send me over the edge..

My skyline is my first car. Ofcourse I give it abit here and there. But I don't go over 80kp/h half the time I do it. I never try to slide it or anything. I just think it's completely stupid to do it. I bought my car fair and square and I worked my ass off to save up for it, skimped on the good things in life like going out to town with mates and all that to save up for it. Now I'm reaping the benifits. I just think bringing P-plater restrictions in isn't going to do anything. Boys will be boys. No matter what they drive people are gonna muck around in it and will do it even more so if their driving a little $1,000 banger then a nicely modified skyline (that they've paid for.) Bringing in P-plate laws is just going to make it harder for the people like me. P-plater+skyline= instant cop magnet.

Photoshop ages ago. and next weekend I'll be in K.I. But I'm sure my car will last the trip without the change though.. But the weekend after that or whatever will be sweet.
