  1. i'll go ahead and say Renault did those parts
  2. emissions will play a part but everything nissan would have engineered would have been based around the operating temp of the stock thermostat
  3. whats the go with you guys running the low temp thermostat? If the engine is designed to run at XX deg why run it at X deg lower? (unless its a track car) surely your just setting yourself up for hassle with the car running on the cold map and running less efficiently, no?
  4. so you smacked a vg30 turbo on it but never thought to get a tune? if you'd have spent $1k on a nistune and tune you'd still have the stock motor and around 200awkw please don't get a 34gtr, you'll blow that up too
  5. dammit, i searched on fb and couldn't find anything i'll join that and pull mine down then!
  6. gktech stuff marked as shipped boost controller arrived in qld will order fuel pump soon and book a flight back to qld should see my car in a couple of weeks also, i made a stagea facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/117917321698843/ just to make it more socially available (a lot of stagea owners don't know about the SAU section here)
  7. but you also need the part that goes on the block right?
  8. pretty sure these would also fit an aussie 31 too btw mate i'd buy them for mine but i don't really need them lol
  9. High or low impedance ?
  10. Any C34 owners who are looking for a cheap master cylider stopper have a look at gktech: http://www.gktech.com/index.php/r33-skyline-brake-master-cylinder-stopper-clearance.html They are clearing their R33 ones for $22! I've just ordered one but im not 100% certain the fit but im pretty sure they will
  11. i'd come and support but i'll be in qld then good luck with it tho
  12. i really like the rs wagons turbo diesel wagon goodness
  13. i think stao should offer his own dump to suit his own rear housing then develop an iwg setup that works really well if he can make a turbo for $1k then he should be able to knock out some cheap dumps
  14. i guess this is good news to someone maybe planning to track their 86 should have a good number of written off 86's in the scrap yards quite quickly "check out my tofu shop skilzzzz....." bang.... "f**k" can't wait till the gentlemen's agreement of no engine mods finishes between toyota and subaru pretty sure it was 18 months from them going on sale, so it won't be long now
  15. definitely got my eye on this, just need to weigh things up a little
  16. did you take any photos? should be bolt up but someone in Hypergear's thread had issues with a recent jjr bellmouth dump pipe too
  17. r33 or 34? some have reported r34 ones not fitting i've got a r33 one on mine, i nudged the exhaust on something when reversing once and it hit the transmission for a while but i bent it back a bit and now its ok you may have to get an exhaust shop to tweak it a little
  18. Spotted: Black Stagea RSFour with dayz kit in the Mowbray KFC car park at around 1pm today
  19. best plan of attack would be to soak the bolts in wd40 if you can get some on while the manifold is still warm then it helps sometime and im pretty sure you will have to take the heat shields off for better access go at the rest gently and hopefully you can get to the snapped stud without taking the turbo out
  20. Dammit I wanted those, you gotta be quick around here. I'll go backup on the drift pipes if zoid pulls out
  21. I'm thinking dropped front shaft + big smoke show will be needed I'm keen for a run anytime after about the 10th of November
  22. all rears are the same bolt size
  23. 450 is not bad for that power but it could be worth asking your tuner if he could lean it out on the cruise parts of the map i get around 500kms from a tank not on the highway with the stock tune which is super rich
  24. r33 gtst rear stuff should do it you'll need the eye lower shock mount which is the rwd 33 one 33 gtr stuff for the front tho
