  1. looks good mate! well done i like the chopped up engine cover too
  2. SOLD
  3. best option would be to de-solder it from the 34 ecu and have it installed into yours
  4. nissan sells a kit which comes with new grease and clamps, about $80/cv tho same as r33 gtr
  5. for reference 17x9 +37 had about 3mm of clearance to stock struts so i'd say you'd want a 15mm spacer on the rear (about 13mm more inset than the 17x9), maybe 20mm, but then you'll probably be poking out the guards and as said before, you need the same tyres all round so stretch 245's onto the 11's or run 265's on the 9's (latter is probably better)
  6. RS4S is definitely fork rear mount
  7. yup, mine is a s2 running r34 front brakes must be the rwd part, front struts are similar to s15 from memory so apparently rwd is the exception to the rule there should also add r32,33 and 34 rear brakes are the same
  8. s1 = anything to suit r32/r33 s2 = anything to suit r34
  9. 5 years of uni + a gap year so i've been away for a little while I usually come up at the end of each uni semester for summer, but its never long enough to get back into the car scene up there, its just about enough to catch up with some mates and then back down to Tas I head someone had a meet on the gc the other day and police were cool with it and no one got raped which is cool Probably won't have my car up there till maybe early jan so thats probably gonna suck, should be run rolling around in my parent's corolla
  10. r33 gtr will fit the front and r33 gtst will fit in the back (assuming auto) $1300 will get you a set of new bc's the r33 gtr/gtst combo isn't ideal as they aren't suited to the extra weight in the rear but would be the cheapest option i guess
  11. So what does everyone do for fun these day? Last time i lived at home for more than 3 months broady carpark was still there and was where all the cool kids go Glad to hear that e85 is available from a couple of servos now too! Eventually i'm thinking hypergear highflow on e85 and see what i can get out of it Just need to organise some form of paying for it all
  12. sign up with photobucket and upload the photos there then copy the link that has the [ i m g ] ____________ [ / img ] around it and past it into your post as for coilovers BC are popular here, reasonable price, rebuildable, handle well and ride well (i don't own them, just what i've heard other ppl say)
  13. Haha, yeah will probably keep it for a fair while, though its not so stealth in bright yellow I'd love to get a second car as a daily tho, i'm thinking ralliart colt (~$9k, turbo, good on fuel) Wheels, coilovers and a tune would make me pretty happy and i don't think i'd be on the wrong side of the law (though they can seemingly get you for anything if they really want)
  14. ghey guess i'll look for a job, try not to get shot, sell the stagea, and buy a getz then....
  15. gumtree delivers! neo turbo in perth for $150 (postage should be sub $20)
  16. Hey Guys, I'm moving back to QLD soon Whats been happening up there?
  17. Checked the timing yesterday properly, plugged an old plug lead between the coil and the plug to put the timing light onto as i was unsure of the reading i was getting from the blue loop at the back turns out it reads exactly the same In the process i had to remove the j-pipe Turns out there was quite a lot of oil residue in there Thoughts? Turbo oil seals (its after the intercooler tho) or blow by?
  18. Selling my kakimotos Going to qld soon and they'll be too bulky to take with me 4/5 x 114.3 17x9 +37 Tyres are dead Looking for around $300
  19. Dale, can you send a on with how much the hd links cost please? A mate of mine definitely needs them and I might need rear ones
  20. Thought they'd be around that I really want to get new wheels, the ones I want are that exact size too
  21. Looking good Whats the specs on the wheels?
  22. makes sense that'll be r32 gtr ones then tie rod ends listed for 33R are actually r32 gtr and are different, been through that saga already Would be handy to get some that don't need trimming, but looks like not many options for that tho I might go into my local parts guy with that length info and see what he can dig up (he's pretty old school and can actually find a part without needing to know the exact car it came off)
  23. dammit, meant to say rack end/tie rod not the end
  24. Went on a drive with a couple of mates on sunday, snapped a couple of pics just before sunset Also bought some roof racks off a mate, pics to come
