  1. going nowhere finding someone to weld up the 31 seriously considering siliconing up the holes, keeping the metal i've shaped and welding up when it goes back to qld
  2. was at the drifting at symmonds, but he was hovering around the entrance to the parking also had vic plates on it
  3. http://myworld.ebay.com/performancenissanparts/ check that guy out, i got genuine nissan everything for $260 posted last year looks like he's moved here now http://www.perfnissan.com/
  4. would probably work out ok just buying a rips rb25/30 direct as it will come with awd spacer and oil pickup sorted plus you know they know what they are doing i think the consensus now is that the neo head is better than the 26 head too and if you run a neo head and loom you can run a nistune and keep the tiptronic
  5. cas could be getting heat soak and then playing up or leaking injector fouling the plugs pull the plugs and check the colour
  6. i thought as much, will have to check r31 compatability but still keen for pics
  7. cool cool, good to see everyone getting together Any launceston ppl who want to go on sunday meet at officeworks at 8.30 for a 9am departure!
  8. http://www.sunshinecoastdaily.com.au/story/2012/04/20/grim-news-for-ross-23000-potholes-fixed/
  9. pm me about the s13 camber tops as soon as you get pics up
  10. Think I'll only be going Sunday, too much uni work and not enough moneys to go both days
  11. Hey guys Who is heading to the drifting at symmonds? I don't think my 31 will be up and going by then so i'll try and get in my mates evo Anywho, who is leaving from launceston? what time? wanna make it a cruise?
  12. aus standards black-wire is what you want car accessories install did mine in launceston, did well seeing how few stageas they would get, they didn't hook up the boot properly tho
  13. what did you use on it? mine looks pretty crappy too also, i think that receipt could be for fuel
  14. mad, pretty sure they will bolt onto the front of the dirty-wan, the thermo controller died so i have to run it constantly = annoying
  15. also just spotted that red 34 in the photo too
  16. Can't really give an answer to the whole story but my stagea is taking a holiday in qld atm Should be up and running in a neat-ish looking r31 soon tho have to agree tho, i used to see a few more imports around but now i only see the bad examples driven by the arabs at uni (auto supra, loud as hell red z31, shitty silver r33) i've seen this driving past my house a few times tho looks really well done, sounds pretty good too
  17. I'd buy an r33 radiator fan if someone is selling one with the hub too also still looking for a mig, or someone who can come do some welding for me can pay in beer, spirits or folding money
  18. i bought the v2 because it was on special a few months back i was hoping to use the stock solenoid to create a dual setting, it didn't work and just holds 10psi all the time it goes pretty well now
  19. not on the early gtr's afaik
  20. wow, i'd probably be driving this right now if i was still in qld strange that it has rust tho, its only usually the australian 31's that rust
  21. I've never had an issue with my stock xenons gotta love it when they leave everything be during compliance (was done way before i bought it tho) back on topic apparently i have a new battery, definately regretting leaving my car in qld and taking the smelly r31 to tas
  22. mine used to get a little noisy using nulon oil changed to gulf western sougi and it was heaps better, now its hard to get sougi so i just use the gw synx-3000 and change it every 5000 kms try some different oils and see how it goes, the gates belt will be noisy because they use a harder material for the face of the belt and they take a while to bed in might be worth taking the lids off and check under the rocker covers just in case tho, not overly hard to do and good for peace of mind
  23. staggered widths are actually ok, SO LONG AS YOU RUN THE SAME SIZED TYRE that should get ppls attention, not having a go at you tho steven all you will do by running different wheel widths with the same tyre is have a bit more stretch in the rear
