im just curious but all yo guys with m35's seem to have the 2.5l v6 turbo, anyone got one with the 3.6l NA v6 at all? or better yet one that has been twin turbo'd or sumthin ? sorry off topic i know

yeh mr spencer wat are you whinging about if you pay 1200 a week in tax you must be pulling in around 1600 a week in the hand! anyways mine is going straight on to my ge creditline for my new wheels i got, 12 months interest free. as much as i would love to use towards a set of coilovers, i really have to pay some debt off first haha

hrmm i was thinkin about personalised plates.... 70LVO.... a lil bit off topic but the other day i went to pick up my mate from cairns central (local shopping centre and deadshit hangout) and as i was slowly creeping past the main entrance heard some young fella's go " WHAT IS IT????" i laughed a bit did a blockie, then came back to try n find my mate, this time one of them goes "Oh but those mags suit it so well man" kinda put a smile on my face haha. also went up to the tablelands last weekend (hillbilly country) and coming out of a store this family walks by and the lil kid only about 8 or 9 goes " oh yeah i like that car, its nice mum, yeh looks really good, dont know about the colour but yeah it definetly looks nice" the dad sort of looks at it trying to work out wat the hell it is hahahaha

hey mate, i have an rs4s and yeh some parts can be a bitch to find, like tie rod ends and castor rod bushes, but nothing that you cant get from japan in a matter of 2 weeks time. and if you are worried about body panels and stuff, i hope you are planning on getting full comp insurance for your stagea, tis well worth the peace of mind, try just cars insurance, they will be able to help you out, at not a too bad price. but yeah other than that servicing and stuff is a breeze as it's all skyline running gear and what not. and yeh about the brakes, just try and get 34 gtt calipers and slotted rotors to suit, will be much easier to get pads for and a HUGE braking improvement (just in case those idiot drivers come out in front of you) Cheers, Bradd

hey mate just jump on the stagea forums click here everything you need to know about em is on there. i have a 99 rs4s its a 5 sp manual with the rb25 neo engine, i get about 4-500 kms around town, out on the highway roughly 550- 600 kms a tank, not sure about the gas, but i do know a couple of guys on there have it. i would go with a series 2 98 - 01 or if you're not looking to mod it, apparently the m35's are great to drive and even better on the fuel, its just that vq25det is not very well known here and there is not a lot of support for the engine. dont even get me started about parts for an rs4s. Car has been in the workshop for the last week and a half while they try and source castor rods/bushes and a tie rod end NOTE - IF YOU NEED A TIE ROD END JUST BUY GENUINE, THERE IS NO OTHER SUBSTITUTE (I know this because i have found out the hard way, bought 2 different tie rod ends and they weren't right) also i was lead to believe that we have an r33 gtr gearbox, thus i thought that an extension housing seal would be the same as an r33gtr gearbox. NOT TRUE, once again tried every bearing shop, nothing, have to wait for genuine now

you think thats expensive check this out autech stag on the same page is another autech for 35k and its pulling 550hp!

i wish i could come down for this lads. one time i will tho, have to get one organised when i go down for the gympie skidpan day weekend .... whenever that may be hahah would be so awesome to see so many stageas. i nearly cream myself when i see one in cairns lol (theres only about 4! )

well up here in cairns, nth qld there are only about 4 or 5 stags, and it is very hard to find them lol however i did find one yesterday! yay for me haha he's got a nice rs (rwd) neo stag, with all electric/heated (not that you would use the heater up here) and digital touch screen and shit, very nice. aaaand would be able to chuck a hektik skid siiiiicccckkk hahaha went and talked to him and told him to jump on the sauqld site and on the stagea forums, look out for member "Bolta"

we are having one in cairns and there should be an rs neo coming along

well i've ordered the 33gtr tie rod, hopefully its right, my reasoning behind it was that the 33gtr/gtst/ stagea all have the same chassis, so i figured the steering and suspension would be similar, anyways ill find out next week when it gets here also interesting to note that extension housing seal is the same as 32/33 rwd's and also subaru 4wd's

i ordered an r33 tie rod end today from bursons. hope its the right one lol, and yeh it was $38 dollars including airfreight bris-cairns

nice stag bubba, ok peoples so after waiting nearly 2 months i have finally got my new rims on my stag hope yous like, (and if ya dont, TOO BAD i do hahahah)

mods could you please sticky this part at the start of the thread so s2 owners know whats involved with upgrading their brakes to 33 calipers? cheers. Bradd

its all good mate, just spoke to my mate (mechanic) and its the tie rod ends i need which are pretty commonly available, and the seal i should be able to get froma bearing place up here, thanks tho mate
