mines not running very good at all atm, installed a cheapo boost controller on the weekend ( not turbo tech, got one of those on the way now tho) and in 1st and 2nd gears it jumps nearly up to 14psi at about 3-4000 revs then drops back to normal boost heading up to 5 -6000revs once you hit third tho it only gets up to 7psi and continues to bleed boost as the revs increase.......this is all on the lowest boost aswell so yeah, they are cheap version of the turbosmart in-cabin boost controller, and yeh i dont know whether i just got a dodgy one or somethin but yeah i wouldnt recommend them..

havent done many mods, but would have to say that taking the standard air box off and puttin a pod in has been the best, so the missus can hear "pssshhhhhhhh" sound now lol, oh that and probably doing an oil and spark plugs change

awesome, will get onto this asap, i have the problem on my drivers side only, passenger side headlight looks brand new

oooh man that sucks hey, if they did that to my stag i would say that yeh it would be close to a jail sentence for me.... I often wonder sometimes when i drive into to town for a couple of drinks whether i will come back to a car thats been all scratched up and what not, touch wood it hasn't happened yet.

yer my speedo is out a bit too, RS4 s S2, driving along the highway at 90 km/h i went past a speedo reading thing... "you speed is 82km/h" ...........methinks old mate in japan has had some LARGE rims/tyres on it, and adjusted the speedo to suit.... i went to get new tyres put on, and stupidly got told they were the right size...... Doh! forgot bout the tyre thing on the drivers door....

sorry its a bit off topic, but just reading about how to get the steering column shroud off, i was wondering if anyone has installed a turbo timer them selves.... I'm just not sure whether to try it myself or just get an auto leccy to do it... Cheers, Bradd

see that would of been alright, IF they didnt make it look absolutely retarded with extended roof height at the back, if they had of kept the same lines it might of been quite nice, but no, they turned into some sort of honda crx/skyline bastard child lol

Hey all just flew to Newcastle a couple of weeks ago to pick up my new stagea its a 99 series 2 Rsfour s 5 speed manual just over 102 000kms now ( newcastle to Cairns is fair way... ) mods are cat back 3' exhaust and some gammon mini disc stereo..... gees what a mistake mini disc was lol, but yer luckily the old jap radio goes into my fm transmitter freq. for my ipod lol Upcoming mods are 100 000km service ( hey, its gotta be done lol) Full 3" quad tailpipe exhaust Turbo timer fitted (sitting in my car right now) Dual stage boost controller 18 R-34Gtr rims (hopefully, or something similar) some suspension components ie sway bars, maybe some stiffer springs and maybe just a touch lower and a black FMIC (to keep the sleeper look) everyone in cairns sorta looks at it and goes...."What the..????" lol i Love it

yeh the series 2 rs4s do have hicas, it blinks on my dash when i start it up, but yeh i guess it is the 4wd fluid stuff, i hope lol

Ok so call me stupid for asking this but it has no markings or anything and i didnt get a manual with my stagea BUT in the boot on the right hand side you open up a compartment and there is a reservoir with some sort of oil in it could anyone please inform me of what it is, as I'm getting my 100 000km service done in a couple of weeks, and the guy whos doing it, has never done a stagea before (he has done lots of skylines tho of course and he's the best in cairns so yeh..... theres only like 4 other stagea's in cairns) so i want to make i sure i know what it is so i can tell him (in case he cant work it out) Cheers everyone Bradd

I just paid my premium today with JUst Cars Insurance, was pretty much the only ones that would insure me, (i was under the belief shannons didnt insure people under 25.... at least thats what their site said) but yeah for a Series 2 RS4 manual with a cat back exhaust (covered) they quoted me 1451 full comp. however i needed a cover note to drive it back from newcastle (to cairns) and so it went up to 1491... oh well gave me peace of mind driving back up the coast anyways. and oh yeah Im 21 with a claim against me in the last year and open licence and no disqualifications or suspensions... Hey all its Bradd here up in FNQ, Cairns. thought i'd better do an introduction, especially now that i just picked up my new car last week SO yeah last weekend i flew to newcastle and picked up my Series 2 RS Four S Stagea Specs : 5 speed manual RB25DET Neo active AWD system (I think... ATESSA...or sumthin) Cat back exhaust HKS hi flow panel filter Gammon 16" mag wheels UM yeh it's pretty stock, but goes o.k. Some mods that will be happening over the next 12 months or so are 3" turbo back exhaust Turbo TImer Black FMIC Blow off Valve (cos the missus loves the pssssshhhhh sound lol) 18" wheels and a good tune, and maybe a 2 stage boost controller oh and one of those front wheels torque controllers i've seen on ebay (you can go 2wd or 4wd, an turn the front torque right up to 10 ) but yeh wanna try and keep it a bit of a sleeper here some pics anyways

Hi there ppls, just picked up my s2 RSFour S 5 speed manual down in newcastle ( i live in cairns lol) goes nice and runs well, but yeh i'd agree that there is no step up in boost, mine seems pretty stock cept for a cat back exhaust and hi flow panel filter, ive driven my mates 33 coupe and it clearly has that step up in boost. That sounds awesome johnny, i should really go get my tuned, cos mine has the same stuff as yours, and 170kw sounds pretty awesome but yeh still think ill get a full 3" exhaust tho. ANyone from cairns on here with their stags???????????????????
