32godzilla, If I was in your situation I would either go GT2530 or T517/8 (for a change). However since you asked about the single setup, I do not know much about that except HKS Japan recommended the T04 might have been T04R. They said max output for HKS GT2530 with supporting equipment ofcorse is 600-630. TO4 (R?) was somewhere over 700. I think the difference though will be on what kind of GTR you are after.

32godzilla, sorry to hear about the blown turbo. Regarding your upgrade advice on the other page, I think if you are on a budget and just squeezing to get a single, it would not be a good idea. There is the problem of other associated cost later on and more importantly, the strain on the old RB26. When I damaged one of my pistons, I was thinking of upgrading beyond the 600hp due to the "since ive already got the engine out" factor. Mario's old GTR700 2835R's (think Marios told me Tilbrook or Munro ended up getting em) were offered to me. But after discussing with him about what they can do, it I was more concerned with how long it would last. Now im glad i didnt do it as i keep hearing of the endless cost involved with making the RB26 last. Which we mostly dont hear. So unless you are prepared to dump "ALOT" of extra cash into your car, I would advice on the GT Series upgrades. Better to enjoy the car daily than have it off road alot.

R33 and 32 trans both are the same. Only difference is the push and pull system on the clutch design. I personally wouldnt do what others do and convert it. After all it just is not the same as original and complicates matters later. What I have done is taken the whole internal out of a 32 box. (comes out pretty much 1 piece and put it onto the r33 box housing. Rumours are that 32 internals have stronger gears or better syncro in 2nd and 3rd? but i cant confirm this. Btw, this is my cars 3rd box since I have purchased it.

whats the difference with the series 3 indicators? i thought the indicators were the same throughout all the series.

Seen an R34 In Silver GTR. Had Nismo Wheels on it. Old guy driving it. Rarely see it. Only twice in 6 months.

Ill start.. Saw a really nice Orange R33 today. Full 400R kit with 19's and stealth wing. Looks pretty good. Anyone here own or know the owner? Tried to run him in my S15 and he blitzed me. rolling too... must be a beast! oh by the way, its not that orange one with the white wheels..

2 months ago I drove down north trc, left onto west trc and into Mc Donalds. I noticed a cop car following me all the way from the Casino. Wasnt speeding. When I came out of the drive thru, there he was. Pulled me over and defected me. Didnt look at anything else on my car. Coilovers, Exhaust, Racing Seat, FMIC etc... but defected me. On what? A slighty blue tiny number plate bulb. When I questioned his judgement and told him i noticed him following me all the way prior he responded "I was actually following that VN commodore with the green neon." But the copper decided to let him go and come find me instead?. So again my point. The problem is with the ones enforcing the STUPID rules.

Steve, I totally agree with your point about Dean getting pulled over for no reason except his car was seemingly too low and looked like it was defectable. I got no problems with that. Hey, I saw him that night and trust me, my car is lower and louder than his.. So im not saying he was in the wrong. However back to my point. It's not regency that we should really have a problem with. Its SAPOL. Why? because rules and standard will always be there and car enthusiast will never like nor agree with the set rules and standards. However, there 'SHOULD' be some tolerance or give way from the cops for EVERYONE. Not just pretty looking girls or older drivers. Im sure if Deans dad or mum was driving the 33, the same cops would have not stopped him or her. See my point?

Sorry to hear that Enrico. What did they defect it on now? This is exactly what i mean. Regency doesnt go out and defct cars. Infact they are feeling the strain of all the cars that are coming in. Would be great if they got all the facts right but thats another arguement. Its the super hero coppers out there that do this stuff. Hence, SAPOL suck.

1. No im not having a go at Steve. As I said, he should cool it alittle.. Sometimes its no point being so upset at things that are out of our control. IF he can change it, great. 2.Im not as you put it dreaming. I dont think I am being walked all over. I know my cars are defectable. Do not Comply with the SA Road Traffic ACT and has items that are not ADR approved. So what? When I drive it, I have to be smart to know that there is a chance for me to get defected and I take the risk. at the end of the day, ITS MY DECISION to have such a car.

Also on the point of the girls in Japan, I noticed that unlike in Aus, they all still give the best they can looks wise whether they look ordinary or hot. Unlike here... they give up once they think they dont look so good! LOL.

Ive been defected probably more times than you. Trust me. Yet I find myself being more upset towards SAPOL than the people at regency.
