  1. The last point is true but personally I dont think the first is correct. This is just my personal opinion only.
  2. I agree completely.. but isnt the Spec V pricing insane!!
  3. Because Ive owned many Nissans including GTR, although not the 35 which I contemplated buying before getting my 6 series. Also I have easy access to the 35 here in Japan and my boss owns a Porsche. The biggest 2 difference for me is the quality and at the end of the day knowing that its only a Nissan which anyone can buy. But thats is after living in Japan for 4 years. Unlike when I was in Australia, I see a GTR now and I dont even take much notice honestly.
  4. Im sure thats what the Porsche owners are saying as well. Personally I have owned many Nissan models including GTR although not the 35 and would probably go 911 as well. I mean just look at that front end and the built is so much more better compared to the Nissan.
  5. For those who have never been to Tokyo, this is defintely a city for 911's. The ones who can afford them obsolutely love them and you can pretty much find them all day long. A Porsche guy came into our office yesterday to pick up my bosses car for its 1st service informed us of something interesting. At his dealership alone, 5 of his customers traded in their 911 GT2's and GT3's for the new GTR. After a few months, they all switched back. When asked why, they said after you the thrill of the straightline accelaration and hype goes out, they prefer the Porsche which I can understand. He also mentioned that the new PDK transmissions are not that good. Just thought I would share this with you guys.
  6. It says: If you are reading this then youve probably blown this engine or bought a used one from a smashed up car. Ok jokes aside. This valve has natrium and needs attention when disposing.
  7. I believe you mentioned you lived way past Shinjuku. Tama is the opposite side closer to Setagaya. No biggie, just that you said it was around the corner from where you lived...
  8. Yes I took it with my phone. It was a joke.. I wouldnt buy one. Around the corner from your place? Im quite sure you dont live in Tama
  9. maybe...

Can confirm its harder to find at convient stores in Tokyo central too.
  11. It is a difficult thing to find the right car isnt it? Im also looking at buying my second car around the 2Million mark and send it back. I have a couple of ideas but not 100% sure yet... Let us know what you finally decide to get
  12. Can help with your first question. Must reside continuously in Japan during the period. You can leave for a SHORT holiday back home. They will require all pages of your passport and reasons for leaving Japan with your application. It actually says that on the site. Look closer.
  13. Did he lie about buying it? Surely he isnt that crazy... Car is still listed on the site. Then again so was mine 1 month after I bought it. http://www.goo-net.com/cgi-bin/goojp/used/...flag=〈=
  14. Item: Veilside rear wing Age: 4 years Condition: very good Price: $380 plus freight To Fit: (What car) R33 GTR or GTS-T Location: Adelaide Contact: Ken 041 340 8981 Comments: Genuine rear wing painted in white. Bought it for over 1K few years ago. Has carbon blade and is angle adjustable like the genuine GTR wing. Been in storage and not used. Was on my GTR. Unique Autosports has non-genuine ones for &780 without the carbon blade. Buy mine for $380. Let me know. Thanks.
  15. After the windscreen washer bottle. Must be R33 GTR only because GTS-T ones are different. Fyi, it should have 2 water motors connected to it. Factory plastic or after market metal ones with oil catcher is ok. If anyone knows one for sale, pls let me know. Thank you.
  16. I agree.. but if I were you and wanted a Subaru, I would have chosen a WRX. Easier to move, bigger market and less selling to do. Also dont forget it looks better! Either way, decisions been made. Congratulations on your new ride! Take care of it and dont do anything silly.
  17. Speaking of R34... If only I didnt have my GTR back in Aus. I love it!
  18. Beautiful looking car in Japan IMO but when I saw it back in Aus, looked terrible. Not sure why... Btw, how much is the fuel in Aus today? As some may now, its gone down 25Yen here!
  19. Dont worry about the age.... they love older guys with lambos or cash. but if youre worried about the weight, heres what you need...
  20. Actually saw a black one near work yesterday... Think the 3 of us need to get together and see what moves laurance has... I still remember you 'girls' wish list... similar to mine. Lol..
