I use the nulon product 10w40 http://www.nulon.com.au/products.php?produ...wing_Engine_Oil, i use used it in my subaru, evo and gtr and never had a problem with it. oil pressures ramain good, engine runs quite and i have never burnt any in any off my applications. cost me $60 with a ryco filter... really good value if anyone wants a quility oil with out a mega price tag. would be interesting to see if any others are using it atm.

Guilt-toy Now Running On E85 !
el capitan replied to Guilt-Toy's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I know its a little of topic, but i run a 35r, with standard radiator and fan, highway temps rarely go over 79degrees, and after a thrash about i have only ever seen the power fc read 83. It use to run about 5 degrees hotter until i replaced the dirty coolent (had like 20year old sludge in the over flow tank too) with nulon concentrate 50/50 mix -
i should be right to head to this, It will be my first skyline cruise...

Hey guys been on the forums for a little while ever since the purchase of a r32 gtr. Now im the third owner here in australia and and the car has been known by 3 different plates on the forums. Now not knowing to much about the rb engines (previously owning a subaru rs turbo, and evo 8) i was wondering if this car was running to lean or is it safe to run such high afr's?? I was told the dyno read out was taken a year ago before the fuel system was up graded, Now running twin walbros in tank. A recent trip to qld netted me around 10.4lt per 100kms, but as soon as i put my foot down i get alot of unburnt fuel comming out the back on the rear bar. Any recomendations in tuning a power fc de-jetro in the sydney area would be of alot of help as i have had a bad experience at a work shop already and prefer not to really go back there (name_less) regards ryan

Here is a old dyno graph, crap picture i know, I am not sure of all the mods done to the car but bassically as far as i know its relativley mild. Gt35r, power fc, 600cc injectors, and twin fuel pumps on a near stock rb26 the red line is 15psi and the green is 12psi so i have been told I will be at a tuner tomorro for a service and a retune.

el capitan replied to menace's topic in General Automotive Discussion

Tyres you use(d) and how u would rate them
el capitan replied to ZigenGT's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
I run 235/40r18 yokohama v103 all round on my r32 gtr, car has over 400hp atw with a triple plate clutch, rebuilt box and nismo diffs and coilovers. seem to be doing a very good job for a street tyre. Yes they still do brake traction in 1st and 2nd and sometimes 3rd but its very controllable and predictable the thing corners like its on rails. Has anyone else here use this tyre? any feed back from others?
