  1. Now that you mention it, it is my brake lights. Went to check my brake peddle and it feels very stiff. How to a adjust that switch?
  2. Hi everyone, I seems to be having a weird problem. Since last night the rear lights wont turn off, i checked if i forgot to just turn off the light switch but that was off. I had to take off the battery to turn the lights off. Dunno what the problem could be, never had it before. I did a search on here couldnt find any answers. The car is a '96 r33 gtst Thanks in advance
  3. Those pics looks awesome, do you have any vids? Would love to see this car in action.
  4. The fitment looks great, the car looks like it came from factory with 20's on them, love it! And where did you get those eyelids, those look stunning as well.
  5. Love these r33 vids, lots of smoke
  6. Yea, thats not gonna a be a issue here in the caribbean. A good thing too otherwise a lot of people would protest against this new rule.
  7. yup! and its going in pretty soon, my wastegate and wideband should arrive this week, just need piping and hoses to get the turbo in.
  8. ROFL this is a good amusement thread
  9. Which intake manifold is that? It looks like the RB20 manifold. I would think that is your restriction. From what i've read on this site is that these manifold wont make more than 300kw, should look into getting a front facing plenum. My 2cents
  10. Hi there, i think this is the write up you're looking for. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/181826-how-to-greddy-style-plenum-install/
  11. Thanks for the reply JAS-25T Thats what i thought about tap water, reason why i didnt want to rely on it to keep the car temperature down.
  12. I didnt know that water cools better than glycol, thats good to know. I had a look at the castrol corrosion inhibitor and the redline water wetter, both looks good. Gonna talk to my friends and see if they want to join in on a group buy so we can order some online. Thanks for the reply Duncan.
  13. Hello everyone, Dunno if this has been talked about before but i did a search but couldnt find the answer i'm looking for. So, last year the drag race association here on the island joined IHRA and we got a lot of new rules and this year one of the new rules is that cars that are competing cant run with coolant that has glycol in it. Is there any alternatives to coolant or any other types of coolant that doesnt have glycol in it? Because i dont really want to rely on just water to keep the engine temperature down. Thanks in advance for the replies. Take care
  14. Hi everyone, Dunno if this has been posted before. check this cool vid out. This man build his own tumbler, lots of dedication and hard work went into that. http://www.streetfir...cal_2185584.htm
  15. Thanks for the reply King87, the one i saw here is exactly like the first one you have there. The opening is up front where the radiator is. Gonna see if can spot the nismo hood in the US to order.
  16. Thanks everyone for the honest replies, i was just a bit concern and didnt want to ruin my engine which i rebuilt. My plan to reduce weight for this "street" car is for when i'm ready with my new setup i can head up to the drag strips and have some fun there. And to Mr Barraspalding, thanks for caring about my weight, but i already have a gym membership pass and i go there 4 times a week. Next time if you care so much why not ask first instead of being an ass...
  17. Hello mates, I am planning on buying a CF vented hood to reduce some weight but not sure about it. Is it save to drive in the rain with an opening like that? It looks like the water will just poor down on the belts and alternator. My car is daily driven and i dont have a garage to park it in. I did a search but couldnt find anything, if anyone can point me in the right direction. Thanks.
  18. Thanks for the advice Justin, yea the biggest issues a lot of RB motors has on this island is fuel, they dont like it! I will start doing some research on this on how to set it up on my car. Hope everything will go right and i dont blow the engine. A friend of mine with a r33 gtr made 315rwkw on pump gas here but he has a HKS built motor and another friend of mine with a stock motor r33 gtst made 270rwkw on a very conservative tune cause he had a lot of knock on higher power had to lower the boost. He's still searching for a way to drop down the knock levels, I will tell him about this and see what he thinks.
  19. Megasquirt is a good ecu but you have to have someone that knows what he's doing to work on it. A friend of mine got one in his BMW that made 390+ rwhp and 390+ torque. Car is insane, but.... i wouldnt put it in my skyline, too much hassle to make it work on a RB motor.
  20. I'm hoping pump gas cause here we dont have 98RON. Dunno what the knock is gonna be on our horrible gas, might have to go water/meth inj. for a save tune.
  21. Well, I finally received my PT 5857 yesterday and will hopefully have results soon and by that i mean around february next year. I still have lots more to buy. My aim is 300rwkw without an insane amount of boost, hopefully i'll get that. cheers!
  22. Hi Justin, quick question. At what rpm do you start seeing possitive boost? My 5857 should arrive this week, i hope i didnt make the wrong choice.
  23. Wow thats some crazy results. I was waiting to see the results of the 5557 to see which one i have to buy. Was planning on buying the 5857 with a .82 rear for my RB25, now i'm not so sure what to get hmmmm. What would you guys recommend? the 5857 with the .82 rear or .63 rear? or the 5557 with .82 or .63 rear for a RB25. My goal is 300kw maybe a bit more. Engine has CP pistons but stock rods, race bearings ect.
  24. If you take a look at this thread http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Pr...40&start=40 PJ has a 6262 on his sr20 and should be posting results anytime soon now. I'm eagerly waiting for results atm.
  25. Thanks for the reply's guys. Guess i'll be ordering my new flywheel soon! cheers.
