Yeah as Michael mentioned, just updating the software should give you the maps. The custom ones are pretty cool too. I remember the Christmas one was pretty cool.

To the zombie fans, A friend of mine acquired a "copy" of Black Ops for his 360 and decided to MMS me a photo of Zombies mode. Here is that photo. He has also informed me that Dempsey and Nikolai are in it and those videos of playing as former presidents is all bullsh!t.

Scorpian from Deadly Alliance is by far the coolest and most awesome character in the series.

I think it's because the game companies have to pay for licensing to Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo to be allowed to make the game for their respective consoles; where as PC isn't actually "ownded" by any particular company and so licensing does not exist (or is much cheaper if they still need to pay Microsoft for Windows and Apple for their macs.) Back to COD though, I've pre-ordered the hardened edition (which was only $10 more at the time) for the WaW zombie levels. They're going to be running off the Black Ops game engine, which should be pretty cool. And it's bullsh!t that the higher editions aren't available on the PC, since it was the first system to actually have Call of Duty.

I go to Cnet Technology in Airport West which isn't too far from my place. The staff are friendly and they know their shiiit. Although they may not be the cheapest, their prices are still much cheaper than other mainstream stores like JB and they won't feed you bullsh!t when you're looking for a particular product.

$28 for a newly released game is a steal. Damned EB and their overpriceness. That being said, I pre-ordered my hardened edition Black Ops through EB since they were the only ones that still had it available... the day later they were out of stock Only 5 more days to go. Keeping the Treyarch vs IW war aside, I think it's going to be an epic game. Most of all, as I've already mentioned, I'm really looking forward to zombie mode.

$78 for MW2??? Thanks freakin good. I always thought K-mart had their prices a bit higher on recently released games. EB have their prices a bit higher for a) They're a rip off, and b) They allow you to return the game, no questions asked, within the first week (or 14 days, I can't remember exactly) and get a full refund or swap for another game.

True that. I always buy my games from JB. I remember when MW2 was released, it was $110 everywhere and JB had it for $89. Black Ops is only $83.99 if you pre-order through JB.

Just to let people know I've added some random users to my PSN acoflamin mongrel. So please accept it. Not people on my friendlist play MW2 anymore and it's getting annoying finding some decent low ping games.

Makes sense if you put it that way. Anyone else like the emphasis put into the bouncing titties from deadly alliance and after?? I thought it was pretty sweet. Also the way each character would get more bruised up and have blood run down their body. It's these little things that make the games cool.

Yup. I can't remember how much it cost though. I think it's ~$8 Hurry up and get your PS3 online!!! It's almost a completely different system. Plus, all your games will have much needed updates. Fifa 08 and Assasin's Creed played shithouse and lagged until I downloaded their updates. I'm not sure why, but most games have updates the day after they come out. It's almost as if game makers release the game and then worry about the bugs. MK5 is my fav after MKII. I thought the whole changing martial arts style during a combo was pretty awesome. And the "Test your might/sight" mini-games.

MK4 I'm guessing, the first of the 3D mk games. I say digitized sprites ftw.

LOL yeah MK3 was a f*kn pain in the arse to do fatalities. Forget Animalities; first you had to get into mercy (which was the stupidest thing EVER) and then you had to do the button combination at "finish him".

Iview has some pretty cool stuff. It's also good if you wanna catch up on shows you missed as you don't need to download torrents. It's all legally streamed. I'm just waiting for more of a variety of channels... We had ABC for freaking ages and just now 7mate became available. It might be a while for the next channel to join Iview.

I still play MKII Arcade on the PS3 every now and then. Why, I was playing against my brother just the other day. Lucky for me, it's one of the few games I can still kick his arse. These Gen Y kids are just too good when it comes to video games. Scorpian - Hold block, Up, Up, High Punch... Toasty much?? The MK3 codes were pretty awesome on the SNES. "Kool stuff" and "kooler stuff"

An update with Zombie mode. One of the achievements/trophies known as "sacrificial lamb" will be for a teammate to shoot you with an upgraded explosive crossbow (yes, as in, pack-a-punch upgraded) whilst you run into a horde of zombies and kill at least 6 of them. This should be a good tactic to killing those "Freak-meat-bag-sackers!!!" It is still unknown whether the four characters from Shi No Numa and Der Riese will be in it. "Oorah, Oorah, Oorah, OORAH!"

I've been a huge fan since the first MK... even though I was only 4 or 5 at the time. I still remember the blood kode for the mega drive - AB AC ABB Out of these vids, I like Kung Lao's fatality; it's just like his one in MKII. This being said, I'd freak out if a chick like Mileena tried to get her face that close to mine. MK9 will also have a cool X-ray feature that shows your opponent's bones breaking as you fight.

For the MK fans, the new Mortal Kombat game will be coming out in 2011. This one seems to back to it's original roots in that it's going to be a side-scrolling style fighter (but in HD of course). In fact, it looks as though it's a completely revamped version of MKII with the addition of tag-team. One major new feature is each character having their own individual internal organs modelled, which gives you the idea of the kind of gore this game will have. Check out the trailer and some fatality vids. WARNING - FATALITY VIDEOS ARE VERY GRUESOME, much more gruesome than previous MK games... so I think anyway.
