Apparently you don't have to even have a number plate on the front - only on the rear. Of course if you do have one on the front, you must follow the regulations. Whilst I was working at Ford, all the non-registered vehicles that had to be driven to the various departments only had one trade plate - which had to be on the rear. Then again, a cop will love any reason to pull over a skyline or any import.

I've heard Gt5 gonna have a special headset that scans your brain into the game. This allows you to actually be the driver inside the car. Apparently GTA5 is going to have similar technology. If only this stuff was real haha. Maybe when the Playstation 20 comes out.

2010 Sau Vic Renewal Bbq / Dyno Day - Sat 27 Feb @ Re Customs
EeLeYe replied to Bec's topic in Archived Events
My brother and I will be coming. I'm signing up too. Should be good to finally meet some of the other members... and to see how much the car is making these days -
This is gonna suck. The way things are going with noise laws and such, we're going to have to ride bicycles everywhere... and even then they'll try and find something to complain about and waste money on enforcing

EB games has had a pertition for R18+ games recently at their outlets. I don't know how effective it would be but I signed it anyway. Hopefully we can finally get him to change his mind.

i've just entered limbo... hate those freaky baby things. i can imagine lust to have hot chicks that turn into something ugly. Tentacles out of their box??? f**k, picture that in real life. i'm playing it on hard difficulty, hopefully it will unlock extreme. i made a mistake in my 1st post; you can download issac's suit to use in dante's inferno, not the other way around. i've also noticed the demo has fewer sound fx. For eg, the sound when you absorb souls is way better in the full game... more EPIC, so to speak.

I just bought Dante's Inferno yesterday and I've got to say, it's f**king AWESOME!!! Dante's Inferno is the latest release by EA and Visceral Games, the makers of Dead Space. If you're a fan of God of War, then you'll love this game. Instead of fighting with the Gods of Olympus, you actually fight through the nine circles of hell, battling demons and other minions along the way until you go up against Lucifer (I haven't finished it yet, but I assume that's who the last boss will be). The gameplay is very similar, if not, exactly the same as GoW, which is the main reason why it's so good. The graphics on the LCD look spectacular, whilst the sound of the blood splattering along with the voice acting adds to the fun factor. The super epic music was composed and performed by some London orchestra and makes the game seem like a Hollywood blockbuster. You can tell the company spent a hell of a lot of time and money making it. My version is the limited Death edition, which comes with a bonus dvd, fancy packaging and some downloadable freebies. Actually, one of them is a bonus Dante outfit (and Grim Reaper Scythe) for Dead Space... (you battle against the grim reaper at the start of Dante's Inferno) Best of all, it's available on both PS3 AND 360.

On another note, the damage in gt5 is more to do with the wear and tear of the vehicle rather than crashing and smashing. As explained by gamespot.com when they were checking out the damage model. http://au.gamespot.com/ps3/driving/grantur...p;mode=previews

If you're with 3 network and on a contract, just give them a buzz and they'll unlock it for you...

Side mirrors have always been a major wind-drag restriction. The main reason as to why they still exist on today's cars though, instead of cameras or sensors, is purely superficial. A car without side mirrors is like a person without ears... it looks freakin wierd. Just imagine your rine without mirrors

Sure, why not?? How many people on here use stopping power for every single one of their classes?? Unless you're a sniper class, there's no need to use it. It's annoying when I spray bullets at my enemies, only to have them shoot me twice and get the kill.

I got nuked two nights ago in 5 out of 8 free-for-all matches I played. This would happen within 3 minutes of each game. Eventually I found out some clan, KAo$, were all hiding in the one corner, using tactical insertion and just shooting themselves so one of their teammates could get the nuke. The use of a bit of cold-blooded pro and ninja pro changed this... along with my little gooey toy, Mr semtex grenade = multikill frenzy Add me - ee7eye My clan name is R33... but I seem to be the only member haha. I could use a few more.

Dead Space is pretty freakin awesome. Especially playing it with surround sound and hearing all the noises around you. Really scares the crap out of the player. I also thought hard mode was the hardest difficulty so I played it on that the first time round, only to find after finishing it, that impossible mode gets unlocked. So I gave that a shot using only the plasma cutter as I'd get two trophies on the ps3. Surprisingly, it's actually not as impossible as one would think... I finished it 3 hours quicker than I did on hard mode lol. Four shots is all it takes to kill the bad guys, two shots on each arm. Plus, you can focus all your credit on modding the plasma cutter instead of the other guns. And, just for the record, I scored the platinum trophy with this game Yes, I have no life... Pre-production for dead space 2 has been finalised so it shouldn't be too long before it comes out. Can't wait!!!

I was thinking of doing it with my V4 and reading the values off the hand controller but according to the wolf site, the wideband sensor is very sensitive and so they recommend only hooking it up when your tuning the car... in other words, no point in doing it UNLESS you plan to tune the car yourself.

Stealth is the way to go. Especially since your new car is cop bait, the last thing you want after spending all your money modding, is to have that nice yellow sticker on your windscreen. I've gone the "stealth way" and I'd be more than happy to let a copper inspect under my bonnet... hmmm, that doesn't sound right...........

Stick to the standard air box with a high flow panel filter. I´m running 250rwkw and barely notice any major reduction in performance on hotter days. Adding three passengers in the car results in a different story... Keep in mind as well that it´s not just the hotter weather but the humidity that affects the performance of our turbo beasts. Car companies calculate power using the specific heat of DRY air. I know for a fact that a NA car on a 85% humidity day can theoretically have almost 10% less power than on a 25% humidity day... This would be higher on a turbocharged vehicle. Anyway, a little extra info for all the car nuts out there btw, I´m not pulling this out of my A$$, I just finished my final year project on this kind of study.

They say realistic violence... yet I didn't know killing ZOMBIES was real. Has there been some sort of a zombie outbreak somewhere in the world?? Even though it's banned, they may still release it without any editing and still receive an MA rating. FEAR 2 was banned at first and then somehow it passed with nothing removed from the game. That being said, the exclusion of an R rating for video games is still bullshit.

Make sure you uprade the AFM with a new turbo. They tend to suck just that tad extra air lol. After my turbo upgrade when I had a PFC, I had to get a Z32 AFM to manage the extra volume of air.

I used the slot for the antenna switch. I just bought the switch from Repco for a couple bucks. Doesn't stand out

Thanks guys I got the turbo through Vick. He works with the ATP High-flow turbo all the time and said 19psi won't hurt it. I'm guessing the R34 housing helps. Johnnilicte, Vick highly recommends these turbos so you could give ATP a buzz and see what they have; I've heard the ATP guy isn't the nicest person to speak to so just keep that in mind As for the motor, yes it has stock internals and I brought up the question of 19psi being ok for it. He said it's safe and even went to the effort of showing me through the tune and the slight tweaks he did to preserve the engine. Having the car as a daily driver, I run it on low boost (8-9psi) most of the time and only chuck it on high boost when I feel like giving it a bit of a squirt. I don't go deca days and such so the car won't be 'hurting' and pushed to it's limit very often. I've realised there's a lot of debate on how much boost to run for stock engines - some say simply, too much boost kills the engine, others say depends on how safe the tune is or a combination of both. I was a bit paranoid at first but after Vick explained it, there's more peace of mind. I guess time will tell... I haven't got a torque graph, but I was told the force at the wheels is about 6500N - I still haven't converted it to Nm. Why??
-
Thanks guys Yeah, Vick at EAS Performance did the tune. The guy's a wizard when it comes to the Wolf.

Hey guys, I've just got my car back from the tuners. I thought I'd share the results... My plan from the start has been to keep the engine bay looking as stock as possible so the coppers can't pull me up for anything. Car makes 252.7kW on 19 psi. Details: - Stock Internals - Highflow turbo by ATP with R34 Housing - S15 480cc Injectors - Bosch 040 Fuel pump - 600 x 270 Stealth style intercooler. It uses the return path of the stock cooler. - 3" exhaust - Stock Airbox with K&N Panel Filter - Wolf V4 ECU - MAP Sensor (for those who don't know, Wolf uses a MAP sensor instead of the AFM) - Factory boost solenoid The boost is controlled by the in-built Wolf ECU boost controller which uses the factory solenoid. I haven't got any pics of the engine bay but it looks fairly stock - just as planned Unfortunately, the stock BOV was leaking and even the mod to stop this didn't work so I've had to block it off for the time being. Cheers all

It's all debateable but something I noticed when I bolted on my high flow bush-bearing turbo was that the lag time lessened within the first 500km. This, I'm guessing would have been a run-in period for the turbo. My tuner also suggested not to give it too much and let it run in as well. I know of a few people that would agree with this, also know a few people that won't. My suggestion is, if it's a bush-bearing, run it in (to play it safe)... if it's ball-bearing, not so much. Then again, do whatever you want.

How To: Bosch 040 Fuel Pump In R33 Skyline Si / Sii
EeLeYe replied to DRFT33's topic in Tutorials / DIY / FAQ
As Jet 20 mentioned, the 044 is an external pump, therefore it requires surge tank etc but intank is still possible. You can still modify the cradle to fit a Bosch 044 pump. I bought an 044 (NOT an 040) pump off dangerman. He had it all set-up to go intank. Even my tuner was impressed as he'd never seen it done before. -
Actually, I just checked my car's plate on that hoon database website and it says that my car has a clean record. Does this mean that the police record is a separate database from this one?
