  1. I too am interested if this list really exists as my car is also supposedly on the system. Here is my totally awesome story... I was driving behind a taxi in the right lane on King st one night. This idiot taxi driver not only drove at 30kph in a 50 zone, but he kept pressing his brakes at every U-turn section (I thought he would eventually make a turn - he didn't); so at the next set of lights I decided to jump on the left side and overtake him... Up ahead, there was another car double parked in my lane so this meant I had to get in front of this taxi. I figured he drives slow so I don't have to punt it too hard when the lights go green. After they changed, I take off and this taxi driver (out of the blue) decides to actually put his foot down. I thought, "f**k this, he's not getting in front again" so I plant it, get safely ahead (without going over 60 as it was now a 60 zone), chuck my right indicator on and make the transition into the right lane. Next thing I know, cops are behind me with their lights on. I pull over and after a bit of a pep talk, I am told that my car is on the "hoon" database for drag-racing and will remain on it for 12 months. I didn't argue as they hadn't given me a fine...
  2. A few years back there used to be some commercial with a chick mechanic answering the phone... All I remember is that she was HawwwwwwTT. I wonder if anyone else remembers it... Since then, chick mechanics have been a turn on Obviously this post is in no way a helpful one. Then again, maybe I should be posting it on redhotpie or adultmatchmaker...
  3. Thanks Jaye, much appreciated . Unfortunately I don't have the restrictor tubing so I guess it's low boost mode for the time being. Elias
  4. Does the restrictor sit in the line going back to the intercooler piping or the line leading back to the actuator? It may be missing...
  5. Hey All, I used to have a bleed valve boost controller running 13psi no problemo and have recently gone back to the stock solenoid. I have spliced the ground cable to a switch that allows me to choose low or high boost mode. On low boost, it runs at about 7psi (I have a bellmouth 3" exhaust) so it's all normal there; When I flick the switch to high boost mode, the boost just keeps increasing instead of stopping at the "high boost" limit it should (in this case, ~9psi) I've checked many times in case I hooked up the solenoid incorrectly by comparing it with other people's skylines, everything is correct. Does anyone have an idea as to what it could be??? I've used the search engine...... still nothing. All replies are appreciated, Elias

  8. Serial number for the PFC is PFC ECR33 010- 1513 Serial number on the hand controller is FCC3 020- 14546 I've also attached some photos. Apologies for the bad quality in some, they were taken off my phone camera. And to re-clarify, the price is negotiable
  9. Hi All, I've decided to sell my PowerFC and hand controller as I'm changing to a Wolf3d ECU. All works 100%. There is a marking on the outer case of the PFC but this does not affect its function at all. PFC is of latest model ECR-33 Hand Controller is model FCC-3 I will post interstate at buyers expense. Pick up is welcome if in Melbourne. Asking price is $1300 (negotiable) You can contact me via PM or on 0416 320 589. Cheers, Elias
  10. I and many others have put a full 3' turbo-back system (+ a high flow air intake) on a stock skyline and have been extremely happy with the change in performance. If anything, engine response will increase and the boost will rise ~2 psi as well. I noticed no difference in lag at all. So make the change. If you're not happy with it you could always change it back but I doubt you would even want to.
  11. Thanks for the responses guys, much appreciated. As rev210 said, taking the dork path isn't something I want to do. I'll have a think about whether or not I'll go for a hi-flow + supporting mods; depending on my current budget of course... Cheers.
  12. Hi All, I had my car tuned early December '08 and whilst cruising last week, I thought I'd give it a bit of a flooring, resulting in the turbo blowing as I accelerated off the lights Anyway, I drive an R33 GTSt, mods are; - 3' Turboback exhaust - FMIC - K&N Panel filter - PFC - Hi-Lo pneumatic boost controller: Lo-10psi, Hi - 13psi. - Everything else stock The car is driven on the low boost setting 90% of the time. After asking the tuner for a safe tune, I was expecting it to last a lot longer than a month. I initially thought I have to rebuild the turbo or buy a new one but some people have told me to approach the tuner since I asked for a safe tune that lasted for only a month. So for the people on here who have experienced this sort of thing, are you able to give me some advice on how to go about the situation?? Any reply is greatly appreciated. Cheers, Elias.
  13. I ended up buying the 5' metal catco cat. No problems as of yet...
  14. That's one f**king AWESOME 21st birthday present. Unfortunately BMW would have put a lot of research into fine-tuning the exhaust and unless you're willing to spend the big $$$ on an aftermarket one, you will undoubtedly lose power... although it may still sound freakin awesome.
  15. I'll be there. First one for me. Will we be able sign up to the vic club??
  16. Make that a third Shut him down good. Little sh!ts these days are getting bigger mouths. I too don't mind the racist jokes around with friends but these kids have no idea; and starting crap with little four year olds............... just plain stupid.
  17. Check for leaks. Make sure the joints and clamps in the piping are all secured and tight. Also have a look for any cracks along the pipes.
  18. Cooling Pro are from TAIWAN. I have one and am quite happy with the product. Just be prepared for a little bit of fuss when mounting to your car as some of the brackets may not line up with your car. Other than that, it doesn't disappoint. Also, you can spend the extra money you save on an EBC or exhaust.
  19. Thanks 2rismo!! I'll look into an eBoost II once the funds permit me to. As for the tuner, I'll have a chat with him about getting those AFRs and see where I go from there. Cheers again mate. Now, back to the off-topic war... ADMINISTRATORS vs MODERATORS: Battle of the homosexuals In Green
  20. I'm sorry. Forgiveness PLEASE!!!
  21. Seems like an EBC is the way to go. I saw all the extra replies thinking "Awesome. Topic has really kicked off" But nope, I was wrong lol BTW, Happy Bday Dr DiRT!!! Cheers guys.
