  1. I'll post it up when I get the graph. Stay tuned for more
  2. Thanks heaps guys. I appreciate the feedback. I'll go back and ask for the AFR graph when I get a chance. My tuner said he's saved the maps so it shouldn't be a problem. May as well ask for a torque curve too.
  3. It's probably best to go with the CAI and intercooler first as increasing boost will also increase the heat produced by the turbo.
  4. 13psi
  5. Hey All, I've recently had my car tuned and aren't sure if this is what I should be getting. I've read other posts where people have been achieving more power on less boost and similar mods. My car is an R33 SII PowerFC Kakimoto catback exhaust Catco Hi Flo Cat FLYN Bellmouth Dump/front pipe Stealth FMIC Solenoid Bleed Type Boost Controller K&N Panel Filter All else is stock Getting 189.5kw at the treads with 13psi. The tuner also said if I had a Wolf3D, I'd be getting around 210kw. Any info is appreciated. Thanks heaps.
  6. R33 Skyline SII PowerFC Kakimoto catback exhaust Catco Hi Flo Cat FLYN Bellmouth Dump/front pipe Stealth FMIC Solenoid Bleed Type Boost Controller K&N Panel Filter All else is stock Getting 189.5kw at the treads with 13psi. Tuner mentioned I could get 210kw with a wolf3d??
  7. I bought the Bellmouth dump/front from Flyn Performance. http://www.flyn.com.au/home.htm Fit perfectly first go without any modifications required.
  8. You can still download content for overseas games by creating an account for that specified region, eg. If you want add-ons for a US region game, just make yourself another PSN user account and select US as country. This allows you to log into the US PS Store and download the stuff you want. Worked for me with my MGS4 game. +1

    Xmas* New Year

It's mum's birthday on christmas day so every year we have all the relos over and get pissed. Oh that special christmas spirit... New years I'll be in Rye with friends, again... on the piss... Summer, I've realised, seems to be the time of year where I consume the most alcohol. I guess same goes for almost everyone else too.
  10. Disconnect the vacuum lines on the boost solenoid (located behind your airbox/pod) and join the two ends thus bypassing the solenoid. This way, the amount of boost you run will be dependent on the actuator; in this case, 10psi.

    Ideas..?

I agree; don't go Evo. I just drove the Evo X and personally, it didn't live up to any expectations... apart from looking nice. The RX7 on the other hand is an awesome car and as most people say, looks the sex and plays the part. Although, being a rotary, it does require high maintenence. OR You could always just go out and buy yourself a supra or wrx...........
  12. +1 I totally agree.
  13. A PS3 vs 360 thread... these threads have caused war on other forums. I'd say I'm a veteran soldier in that case lol. Anyway, I own a PS3 and have always been a sony man... BUT, unbiased, If you want a huge collection of highly recommended games and smooth online play, go the 360. Sure, you need ot pay a small fee but it would be worth it. My mate has one and he never complains. Also, since it's almost like a regular computer, it's really easy to write code; which is the reason why the cross-platform games are usually better executed on the 360. You also get achievement points that enable you to unlock extras in the games. 360 doesn't incorporate a Hard drive in it's games so it constantly needs to load from the disc resulting in longer loading times than the PS3. The RROD issue has been resolved so if you do buy a 360 brand new, then you shouldn't have to worry about it. I'm not sure if they've resolved they're disc tray problem though (disc tray doesn't stay closed due to a magnet losing adhesiveness against the plastic) ON THE OTHER HAND PS3 does have the potential to have more great games... the code unfortunately is difficult to write, which in turn takes time and so requires excess finance. Don't let this turn you away from the PS3 though. It does come with a blu-ray player which can have the firmware updated without a problem unlike other stand-alone Blu-ray players. It also does have some good exclusives; MGS4 is totally awesome and did in fact score a perfect 10/10 on gamespot (something 360 hasn't been able to achieve yet) As well as Resistence and Uncharted. Plus, the online play (PSN) is for free, although not as obscure as the 360's Live. It also incorporates the hard drive in it's games so even though it may take a while to install the game initially, it significantly reduces load times during play.
  14. It's not just the undercover cops you have to look out for. A lot of residents will call up police and report hooning. Just have a read of this article... http://news.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id=676263 Then again, to stay out of trouble, don't do stupid things. Simple as that.
  15. Hi mate, I've got a stock catback system you can borrow (as long as I get it back ) I live in the northern suburbs.
  16. Tough luck mate. At least it's all over now. Hooning isn't only a risk to lives but to our pockets as well... Road rules aren't that hard follow and as most of you (if not all) would agree when I say we pay enough taxes. So why risk donating more to that lovely charitable institution known as "the government". Save yourself the hassles AND money. Event/track days are the time to have fun in your beast. Not in the streets. All in all, as long as the lesson is learned; that's the important thing.
  17. +1 for being the same. The only problem you may have is with the mounting bracket in the top centre of the cooler not lining up with the horn bracket.
  18. Good to hear you got the car back mate. Now it's time to spend your money on those things you should have done a LOOONG time ago. You'll just feel a lot more comfortable with both a decent alarm and full comp insurance. I too live in the Gladdy/Tulla area so I know the paranoia you feel about leaving your car parked out, especially with the road works they're doing outside Safeway, it's harder to keep a close eye on your baby because you can't park it as close...
  19. You should probably just mentally prepare yourself for a couple of things: - the amount of other drivers that like to "try" and drag you. - being an R34, you will also get a lot of different looks from people, some positive, some negative. i.e. young kids thinking your car is "sik". other drivers in a Ford or Holden thinking that you should have bought an Aussie built V8 rather than Turbo Jap-crap. and, even girls wanting to see the stud in that totally sexy skyline. They're just a couple of points I have time to write about at the moment. People, feel free to add some extra points and/or criticise this post. Cheers.
  20. Awesome puppy Adam. As you said, they DO get the good looking girls to stop you in the street. As for the vote, I chose driver. Like what most other people have said so far, 98% granny driver with the occasional run every now and then. I hardly even let the turbo spool whilst driving to and from work unless I'm in the left lane that ends further up or trying to turn into a busy intersection. I've only dragged once... It was a week after I bought the car. Some guy in his VS wagon with chrome 18s pulls up next to me at the lights revving the engine. I thought nah, I'm not going to drag. Lights go green, he "shoots" off. I decide f**k it... plant my foot and off I go. Beat him good, although he did have a full car load lol.
  21. Hey All, I'm thinking of purchasing one of these new Catco cats that JustJap are selling for $175. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ca...ly-t244139.html If anyone is using or has used this particular cat, could you please give some feedback on what you think of it. Cheers.
  22. I used the same tool. It was all I had at the time also. If you're going to buy a grinder, I suggest you get a disc that is thinner than 10mm as this will make it easier for you to cut through your bar. Just make sure you mark up the guidelines PROPERLY as you don't want to cut too much off.
  23. Pay peanuts, get monkeys... as most will say.
  24. Lol, you could say that BUT Then again, we could have also paid an arm and bought an ARC stealth cooler..
