San Andreas; the game that was always fun. Chucked in gta4 just the other night. Game engine was good but it just didn't have that fun replay value of San Andreas… Although shotgunning drivers in the face is still pretty fun.

So if you haven't fallen into the Diablo III craze, MAX PAYNE 3 is receiving rave reviews for re-making the third-person shooter genre. 9/10 is not bad for a game that was supposedly never meant to be made... It's the perfect sleeper!!! Nissan took the awesome GTR platform, and covered it in horse manure. Are those over-sized round lamps sitting inline with the upper grille, supposed to be fog lights or headlights? Each to their own, but f**k!!! You spend $$$, you'd wanna sit in something nice. And the interior is f**king shithouse. This thing is an insult to the GTR... /end rant

I'm actually considering buying this one. The story apparently does kick off from the end of the first game. The Call of Duty franchise has always been fond of the idea of dual protagonists, whether it was alternating between two separate theaters of war in the World War II days or two different elite tactical units in the Modern Warfare franchise. Black Ops II is out to do the same thing, but with one very different twist: instead of being separated by geography, the playable characters are separated by decades of time. Trailer Although COD has died for most hardcore gamers, Black-ops 2 seems to be a bit different to the previous games... and by a bit different, I mean, there are scenes in this trailer where I wasn't sure if it was a COD game... One thing to note is that it's not so much a sequel to the story of the original Black-ops game but more so a carryover of the name; judging from the trailer anyway. Apologies for not posting a direct youtube link - there was no trailer on youtube when I posted this. Also, I'm at work and I have no sound here...

With PayPal as a payment option, you know you've got protected cover. In addition, the guy is also selling HTC phones too. Looking at the feedback, seems like this guy has been selling for a long time. You could always send a note to eBay staff. I've had a few scammers busted that way ... one of them was also trying to sell a PS3.

RUMOUR CONTROL Apple could be getting back into the console game market with a helping hand from Valve, according to a report on Cult of Mac. Is the console market big enough for Apple, Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo? The Apple-focused news site followed up reports that Apple CEO Tim Cook visited the Bellevue, Washington, headquarters of Valve last week with an explanation for the executive's trip. According to Cult of Mac sources, Apple is preparing a TV set for release later this year that "will come with an Apple-branded, Kinect-like video game console." According to the site, the system will rely on motion and touch controls, possibly through a touch screen remote that will come with the TV. Linky I think it's a crazy idea that the Apple fan-boys will be jizzing their pants about. I mean, I've got an iPhone but a console??? The first line, "Apple could be GETTING BACK INTO the console market" means that at some point they had a console... This would not be Apple's first attempt at cracking the game console space. The company teamed with Bandai in 1995 to launch Pippin, a multimedia console based on the Macintosh operating system that also allowed users to access the Internet. The system flopped, selling just 12,000 units in the US before Bandai pulled the plug on it. And by going with the general Apple trend, does this also mean it'll have "previous-gen" hardware??

Haven't noticed this. Will check when I get home. Hopefully the R18+ rating will be introduced by the time they do an MK10... I still don't understand how ripping someone apart with an electronic net or knocking someone's block off with an uppercut can be deemed realistic...

According to this guy, Multiplayer mode is apparently more fun than previously thought... Spending Bullet Time With Friends You're pinned behind a bus in a Sao Paulo transit depot, with a half-dozen mercenaries ready to wipe you from the face of the Earth the second you peek your head past the headlights. You keep still, planning your next move, when out of nowhere some lunatic flings himself from a second-story window and manages to shoot every single one of those armed thugs before he even hits the ground. Immediately upon impact, he pops up as if to say, "I'm good!" and then proceeds to loot each of his victims like a ravenous hobo. Right now that guy might look like the craziest man on the planet, but he's also your teammate. And he just saved your life....... .......When you engage bullet time, anyone caught in your direct line of sight will have their movements slowed down as well, indicated by their screen suddenly turning a reddish hue. The really interesting thing about all this is that this bullet-time effect can be chained from one target to another. So if your target also happens to have his sights set on a teammate of yours, slow motion will spread to that third player as well. This gives your opponent a chance to either go for the kill he already had his eyes on or simply break from your line of sight to escape the bullet-time effect altogether. It's a clever way of balancing the slow-motion effect in a competitive multiplayer setting, giving successive targets an opportunity to avoid frustration when they're caught in anyone's bullet time force field. And when you manage to turn right around on them and counter their attack with a kill of your own, it's immensely gratifying.

So, ended up buying this stand for more a bit more than the cost of the wheel. I've been thrashing the wheel and it's unbelievably rigid. Plus, I can fold it away and hide it for when guests come over... unless we're having a GT5 night. The game is completely different and I'm surprised at how well the force feedback reacts to the game. The neutral function for when you don't press the clutch at the right time is a bit annoying though - just needs some getting used to...

Update 1.04 should be available soon for download. I can't find much on it apart from the following. - Back to Karkand DLC must be re-downloaded - there are more crashes now, than there were prior to the game's release - you can now quit game, DURING a game... that's a good thing - and some weapon updates...
