I don't have one, or any room for a cockpit so ended up having to buy one of these from pagnian, G27 Stand Not much about them on the net but the little info I can find is all positive. It costs a little bit more than the ionrax, so took a punt. I also needed something that would fold away easy. This thing seems to do it fine. The position of the gear control is also optimal. Will post up whether it's a win or a total waste of money. Stay tuned…

Can't wait for the wheel to arrive now. It is the one on the JB website, but they sell for $270 delivered on eBay; from hong kong and half of that price is the actual delivery… No room for a cockpit so may have to bite the bullet and fork out the odd $300 for one of these or similar.

Been reading over this thread and a few more reviews. Looks like I'll be needing a decent wheel stand. Cbf making one and the ionrax looks good. Can fold away too; which is good coz I've got minimal space where the ps3 is set up. And the deal is still on as of this moment.

I'm never gonna use, it'll stay in the box forever. But I couldn't resist at that price. Perhaps, I'll start to actually play some gt5.

I was a HUGE fan of ssx on the ps2 and preordered this one as soon as it was available. Did it through JB. Received an email on Friday saying that they sent it already… Should receive it tomorrow, hopefully. Haven't stopped playing the demo either. The new game engine and control mechanics make the game flow really well. The multiplayer is going to be AWESOME. And the nostalgia once the "tricky" music started looping…

Thanks Grant, I guess the excellent drive quality of the Nismo outweighs the slightly heavier flywheel of the Ogura. Ordering now... from Nengun... I'll see it in three months - by that time I won't be able to get out of my driveway.

To Ogura, or to Nismo? I need a new clutch and am looking at the twin plates. Did a bit of research and the Nismo has almost a stock feel, whereas the Ogura comes with a 2kg lighter flywheel than Nismo… Which to use?

I'm super lazy so I bought a KCI ezy wrench from autobarn today; best $99 I've spent on the car. Instead of wasting minutes loosening and tightening the wheel nuts - it can be done within seconds; LITERALLY. Highly recommend it, bitches. Plugs into your cigarette lighter or your battery terminals and comes with everything you need to getting those wheels off fast. Fk yeah!

You could hook up your consoles to the tv via hdmi and connect its optical output to your x41s BUT you will lose all surround sound capabilities because the tv only likes to transmit Dolby digital via optical when you're viewing dtv. A 2 way splitter will be your best option. More cables, but you'll still get the surround sound. Youll find this is what most people do anyway.

Must be a gt5 curse. My ps3 also died when I first stuck in the game. Watched the intro video and as the main menu was loading, DEATH to the ps3… YLOD The 3D is pretty cool though.
