  1. Make sure you insurance company covers the paint, wouldnt want a hard to insure car impossible to insure.
  2. I dont know how you can complain about an insurance company taking a no claim bonus after they just pay you out 20k for a vehicle
  3. Man they created a freaking section here for for sale parts yet you still have to post in the main section.
  4. www.keas.com.au They do the best jatcos in Aus.
  5. why not a second hand 350z? and twin turbo that? im pretty sure you dont need to pay 15k to get that twin turboed if you look further then usual.
  6. parker = rhino? Id doubt his old r32 has done 5k kms since he sold it, doubt its for sale again though.
  7. Car should still start with rooted afm, even unplugged. Jason this aint a conversion or anything, was running fine one day, then went to start it one morning, started ok, then just died and wouldnt start again. now its getting no spark. but has fuel and will crank
  8. R31 rb20de, wont start has fuel and will crank, has no spark however, will be changing ignitor soon, would there be any other reason that there is no spark?
  9. Endorsement would be a 'modification excess'
  10. 830? *shudders* unless major service included cam belt changing
  11. or take a door barrel to the locksmith
  12. some kind of miss leading information there, standard gtr intercoolers are tube and fin, Bar and plate cool better that is true however they suffer from larger pressure drops, tube and fin suffer from less pressure drop but cool a little less effeciently. if you have the room and the dollars fit a big tube and fin core, these days everyone seems to go bar and plate, doesnt necessarily mean they are better. Do a google on them and there is a mountain of information.
  13. Keeping on topic for a for sale topic in the perth section? hmmm irony
  14. I wish my daddy was a copper, i want your daddies sticker straightening skills. Man if my dad was a copper id want him to get me out of a bit more then just an extention, why didnt he bust their asses down to sargent for giving his kiddie a sticker?
  15. a heavy duty single plate puck clutch isnt an improvement on the twin plate that is already in there. Look at having the twin plate rebuilt if that is the case, do not let the workshop retain the twin plate, even in warn guise they have some value. argh, and twinplates come with their own *usually lightened* twin plate. Try and do some research into what twin plate you have and replacement plates of them. CHeers Sean
  16. Hand in your licence if you cant drive your car without turning the tyres, I recon my mum who has been driving for 30 odd years has never spun her tyres.
  17. Insted of complaining to us on a forum go back and tell them you are unhappy with the work. i hear that works better
  18. Been a member for a fair while, had a pintara to start with then a silhuette so was always on the outside . The decline of the forum side of the deal was in order Whoretown perth Becoming a user pays club Sst posting more often This is all Actually the high point of sau was when Boostzor hit the curb in armadale, and then the video that followed, no offense but that was classic, all down hill from there. Good to see that you still post. Other highlights Macka getting a 12.9 rev210 getting a 13.2 with STOCK COOLER! and a couple of late night cruises that i can unfortunately not remember
  19. Make sure it has 3 point immobiliser, black wiring, auto arming and is installed by a licenced professional, also make sure that it is australian approved, thats about all most insurers will require, alot of the wiz bang group buy/ebay alarms are not black wired not australian approved and their features would make them worthless as far as an insurance company would assume. I like autowatch alarms myself.
  20. People you have to live up to the facts that imports are more often crashed and when they are crashed they are more expensive to repair, so what you have to do is show to your insurer that you have a good insurance and driving history and then show some history with performance cars, then you may 1, get insurance and 2 get a decent price, otherwise you just have to live with the hand you have dealt yourself.
  21. cant believe you got all the way to 1.8 on a new engine? How about backing off when it passes 1 bar next time, or even better when it just gets over stock boost
  22. you going to struggle to get any type of turbo car cams approved for under 3k if your not doing all the work yourself.
  23. if coils are arcing out against the head, then it could be that the rubber surrounding them is cracked, aparently the cure is to tape them up so the spark cant get thru to the block its usually due to the rubber deterioating etc etc
  24. Meh, tuning yourself is a disaster just as is taking your car to some of these 'tuning shops' in perth is a disaster. Chris mills doing 308 conversions on s13s now eh? If you get the diagnostic tools that workshops have there is no reason people with good knowledge cannot tune their own cars, wideband meters are becoming more affordable all the time.
