I think Ken said he was doing one, i was just wondering how it was going, Im considering Going full house piston and rods. Also has anyone got the vvti head working with the 3 litre bottom end? As for the question, either stock or modded condition can vary and be a bit of a lucky dip. Id probably get one with mods that are intelligently done and can be improved on. expensive stuff like coilovers and mech lsds are important or ecus, stuff like bovs and wheels can be bought later

err boosting a na25 wouldnt be that hard. There are a few in perth that have been done not 4wd just gtsts. if you keep the boost down and have a good management and cooler i cant see there be any problems and much easier then a engine conversion.

r32 rb20 is top feed the same as gtr injectors i dont know if the rail is the same rb20 to rb26 but the injectors are interchangable, apart from tuning and impedience

Maybe an unprepped plex strip might be more slippery then a clean road, but there is no way on street tyres that a plex prepped track with a bit of rubber on it is.

Paul this is goign to be the same for most drag tracks around the country. If anything id say street tyred cars would work better at kwinana then at other tracks, saying that our times may be worse because of our track is far from a truth

Most people will say just buy a manual. i gotta agree but hey you cant always get what you want. Hardest part is finding an r33 box, expect a minimum of 1.5k for one. Next is clutch at least 500 bux then pedal box master slave cylinders, so even without labour your looking at 2-2.5k Have a good one
