  3. If it hasnt been tuned in Australia then the boost should definately go down, Japanese usually tune their cars for higher octane fuel then our pissy 98 ron, They have 100+ ron standard. So 1.4 bar on our fuel may be a little high, if you dont want to turn down the boost, maybe use a octane booster,
  4. Coming from the rb30 conversion thread doesnt the rb20 manifold bolt up to rb25. following that, wouldnt greddy rb25 plenum work for rb20 as well.

  6. Most people? no id think most people go for the hi flow, The costs involved are actually less. My hi flow at dynamic turbo chargers cost around 1300 as would an r33 one so far the best ive got on a dyno is 290 rwhp im sure there is more in it with some tuning etc.

  9. yeah best of the day was on 195s i usually race on 235/16/50s but i ran out of them. Best of that day was 2.2 Best ever is 1.85
  10. devious, i was using 195/60/15s on about 30 psi on my 13.05 the tyres that i was using to start with were horrible so i had to go back to my stockers...
  11. Interesting day to say the least, Track was like ice, the return road had more grip in it. Got a best time of 13.05 with 2.3 60ft at 113 mph so the mph is 3 mph better then my best et, with 60 foot being .4 off my best, so there is a mid 12 in there somewhere. On my Second pass throw it into 3rd, add power, and tail end decides to go wall ward at 130-140 kph. Interesting stuff indeed

  14. this would be a perfect oputunity to do a rb30det conversion insted, pity you have already purchased the front cut. You should really ask these questions BEFORE putting money down.
  15. Its not a boost cut, i dont have one, i think its that the profec A can only do double the stock wastegate. If so this sucks but can be got around. How do you reset it to get to 'p1' mode
  16. Why differenciate between r31s? And i think mine is the fastest on this board 12.79 @ 110mph with 1.9 60 foot done at kwinanna with a few people from this board as witness.
  17. Has anyone set up a profec A properly to a set up they are happy with over 1 bar? Im looking for 1.2 bar and so far the best i can get is spiking to 1.2 and then dropping back, i know the turbo can hold 1.2 bar in 2nd gear. Ive trained it once, but i cant get back to the 'P1' training mode again, any help would be great from someone that has set up a profec A. Cheers Sean.

  19. thats if you pay someone to do it , the actual clutch plate and uprated pressure plate, isnt much more then 340. from autoclutch

  23. rb20 to rb26 ha, no sane person would argue that. however rb25 vs rb20, is much closer the jury is still out, with the rb20 in perth at least having the runs on the board, for this board.
  24. Paul, your car is still minimally modified, i mean it still does 13s
  25. Its gonna be laggy cause its a 20g. 20g is a laggy turbo
