  1. a 240 k is just an australian released skyline right? c110? perhaps im not sure of the designation, r200 diff still? im interested. puckish a na auto ca18 silvia in less then pristine condition shouldnt be worth much more then 4k. I really just want a solid platform for an rb20 street/drag car. Needs r200, and ability to swallow an rb20 s13 is probably the easiest solution

  4. i spose the condition im after is 'fair' interior doesnt really matter too much, no huge panel damage, no bent chassis, im not expecting it to be perfect, it is a s13 ya know
  5. Dudes, my hunt for a r30 didnt go too well, so ill go to the next option, im after a s13 for around 4-5k, its spec doesnt matter too much na auto ca whatever ca18de manual would probably be preferred. If anyone knows of any let us know, cheers.

  12. second gear launches are not fun in a turbo car maybe a big na but not in a turbo and you would have to have a killer clutch set up it just doesnt work, ive tried with a brand new clutch.

  14. If they are quoting you 2k for a hybrid install they are making lots of cream on that pie. But hey, we are supposed to support them. You can get a hybred intercooler for around 800 and pay someone around 600 to install it. I believe the hybrid is as good a core as the hks or trust units, however i wouldnt say they are better. If you can get a trust kit for 1300 id say that would be the way to go. By the way i saw a hybrid install done by a company we are not allowed to mention on here because how much they suck, at lets just say this install include a very very very very tight 180 degree bend, and 3 bars of the cooler blocked by the return pipe, i almost choked on my donar kebab. This is also a reason the kit would be better, the tanks are designed for rb passover pipe, im yet to see a hybrid installed well on a rb engine with standard crossover pipe. Man that intercooler install was crap, but everyone thinks this place is good cause they have a 9 second rotor, oh wow!
  15. R32 should be able to be picked up for 16k for a nice example, they are not that much cheaper then r33s because 1 they are a better car and 2 the are more rare

Cause the scheme isnt ment for businesses to make money from, the govt hates any second hand car imports, it makes us like a third world country, Most companies usually make bulk coin from these 15 year old imports anyway. However the govt shouldnt keep changing the rules because they dont like the way people are maniplating them hmm i like contridicting myself
  17. High flow is more or less a t3/t4. Once you get rid of the plastic/ceramic wheels, they will produce 15-18 psi, My turbo is a highflow vg30 turbo with a t04 compressor whee. this produces 18 psi easily. I paid around 1300 to get it rebuilt,

  23. rev on the street and on the track the way a car makes its power will make a difference, at the drag strip however, where you are going to be in your powerband for more or less the whole race if your a decent driver. I say your times have more to do with driving style then mods.
