SST is a good place for a dyno comp, good guys with a clue, id suggest the dyno operators will be more familiar with the dyno then the new dyno at speedworks, you need confidence in the dyno operator

just like you see the plates, but never see the 9 second pass. Or see it at the plex full stop, like most 'tuning' shop cars. Kudos to Speedworks for racing their r34 btw its a beast

HAHhahah oh dear. This isnt going to be liked but what the, this is an internet forum so ill say what i feel. The last couple of posts show why this is one of the 'softest' car forums on the net. Post the same question on the NZ SDU sight and the r32 would win hands down. You cannot go passed an r32 gtr if you love skylines and driving and cars in general. IF you think they look out dated. try looking at one in the flesh it looks as good today as it ever did. Especially with some DISH. Ride not comfortable enough? soft. I believe that motoring reached perfection in 1989, and will probably not be reached again for another 20 years. You cannot call r32 gtr oldschool, its more or less the same as a r34 gtr under the skin. Or is that oldschool too? This is why i cringe when i read these boards

perhaps learning to drag race will help your time? Foot to fhe floor is not the best way to get best times? You dont see top fuel drivers spinning their wheels through gears and they get pretty good times. Try applying power gradually Saying that "Yer she was spinning into 4th" may sound like your car is uber powerful etc... but it doesnt help your et's.

How about a gtr with stagea RS gearbox (ie auto) or perhaps some type of alfa style sequencial clutchless gearbox, i know it sounds a bit exxy though but there must be a way to get into an clutchless GTR or perhaps a r32 gts-4 with rb26 conversion

err who would pay good money for something most people just throw away or let the installers take away, they are worthless i gave away my standard intercooler and if i still had my pipes would give them to you rob, but the pipes are half being used and have thrown out, and it was a r32 gtst,, i dont know what the difference would be. I had a turbosmart bleed "blue type" as my first bleed, this worked ok i spose used to spike to 15 and drop to about 10 psi I now have a Blitz duel sbc and this is set at 15psi and while it doesnt hold 1 bar it gets to 1 bar quicker and bleeds off slower. The ebc was almost easier to install then the bleed valve

Im not sure about the nics engine but i know that a r32 head will not work with an r31 eccs manifold, so im thinking that the only way a r32 head will go onto a nics engine is to have all the r32 manifolds both exhaust and inlet, and then you will also need the r32 computer, all seems like a bit of a hassel to me.

i had the same problem, I did two things first was change to some iridium plugs second was to change Ecu. to a mines one. Id try the plugs first

Ill be up for the r31 wagon record. Car is still defected so i wont be going down there till its not, even though im not sure of their opinion of yellows cause my car is now in better condition then when i raced down there before. Oh yeah a warning, your ET's are going to be very high if you go down there anytime soon. The track will be in **** condition.
