  1. That is an ok look, there was a horn looking 26 powered r33 at motorvation with a flat boot, completely flat ala r32 boot, it goes pretty hard too i hear, with a nice paint job to boot. It may even be for sale if you ask nicely.
  2. tramps are golden
  3. or use a multigrip
  4. deaf? The guy that owned it before hand has very good hearing, that box, was one of the sweetest 5 speeds ive ever felt in my life, perhaps it had harsh handling between perth and bunbury?
  5. wtf
  6. Id suggest that a first time inspection of a car thats never been regoed will be 1) more expensive (113 dollars vs 56 dollars) and more indepth as the engineering papers etc will have to be double checked.
  7. Thread Moved, guys please post this in the raver junkie section next time.
  8. so did you get a fine? if not, get over it.
  9. though on paper the gtr and gtt have the same power, in real life, they dont, not even close.
  10. It depends if you have the ability to fix things yourself and want a real performance car get the gtr, if you cant and just want something that goes ok and looks good get the 34.
  11. Might be as simple as a hub change for him then
  12. But why would you get this for a na 25, its overkill and will actually make the car slower 1/4 mile wise. You will also find that a 9 puck will wear quicker as well.
  13. fair enough having lsd already will make it easier to sell to s13 types if they want to keep their 4stud. however. Aint scaring anyone.
  14. Exedy heavy duty clutch kit to suit rb20, from hi tech in osbourne park, it comes complete with clutch plate and new pressure plate, i cant remember if rb25de is the same fly wheel as rb20 though. www.adelaideclutch.com.au Will ship you a kit at a decent price ive found.
  15. They are na skylines there will not be much hurting going on . A Smart thing to do would be to get gts-t struts for the front, which you would get nice 4 pot caliper brakes etc. And for the rear get the complete gtst diff disk to disk, then you would get lsd. You could probably get that in total for around 1k if you look around (IE forums of people wrecking their lines, MrMayfem , Hyperdrive, Dsturbd are also some other sobs that carry quality gear cheap) the labour to change these parts over would be cheap enough you will also get enhanced handling and breaking.
  16. Just don't get a ceramic puck clutch it would make your car a bitch to drive and isnt worth it with the power your making, the exedy kit i bought for 350 held over 300 rwhp. and you dont need insane 2500 lb pressure plate, 2000 or 2100 would be plenty.
  17. get a standard full face clutch with a uprated pressure plate i think i got my kit for like 350 dollars last year or something
  18. Any idea what classes/format it will be running, will need to buy slicks soon need to know what size is allowable to be competitive in the class.
  19. And in front of maccas is the best place to find your limits. This isnt even a turbo 33 i dont think, so there must have been bulk trying to get it sideways, which is just, i could say lame, but i think typical is a better.
  20. you need to get a permit for it to be 2 seater
  21. and here i was thinking this was a wolf thread do you have a buyer for the gtt engine? i might have a friend who is interested
  22. No slicks (some 17 inch tyres which cost me 10 bucks each) 2.0 60 foot Was just a hi flow vg30 turbo (v trim), fmic, gtr fuel pump, and mines map ecu and a bit of boost around 1 bar. Was dynoed at around 290 but probably had a little more on the night 310-320 rwhp that is
  23. how about best quarter mile time? 12.55 is my best @ 113 mph
  24. Nah i know the boot your talking about, isnt tragic talking about the white plastic cap that fits over the bulge at the very bottom of the selector?
  25. Isnt it the circlip that holds the selecter in the gearbox? I cant completely remember but that is what my fuzzy memory is telling me, the plastic boot just makes it feel alot less sloppy.
