RB20LagWagon replied to RB20LagWagon's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
Car will be going in quokka this week, You wont find another mid 12 second car for this price. -
i like the boost guage inside speedo type set up it should range higher then the standard one, though.
-
Shell doesnt even sell Optimax in perth as a 98 octane fuel, We only get Ultimate and Vortex (which For our engines doesnt have high enough ron).

*cough* wing *cough*

need to modify tail shaft to fit 25 yoke, need to modify crossmember to suit box (not a huge modification) and need 25 slave cylinder to fit on 25 box, its slightly different to 20 slave cylinder, could probably do something to make it work but 25 bolts straight on. Other then that, easy conversion

If you are busy spreading the word about selling cars, then if they want something a little older, cheaper, faster then http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ad.php?p=775225 . wasnt gonna post in main section but hey, this seems like a likely thread.

So they/you dont have enough confidence in your own work, that if you take it down the strip or on the dyno it wont succeed? Why even try then? I dont get the reason to create these cars then, cept for a shiney photo and blurb in a magazine. That said though, well done on the times on the weekend, nice tyres. Immacul8 funny you said that about go the rotor, thats what ill be doing. Cheers Sean

The events in perth are always under populated by quick workshop cars, i wonder why they build workshop cars, if they dont display them at one of the only performance events. Geeze even dyno comps get better turn outs. Thank god for the backyarder i recon.

1989 Burgandy over silver Sillhuette Skyline In Perth Western Australia r32 Silver Top Rb20det Engine conversion r33 RB25det Gearbox with H/D clutch and one piece tailshaft 4.11 Diff with Mini spool Hi-Flow VG30 Turbo with T04 Compressor wheel in Machined Housing and Vl turbo cut back Exhaust wheel Mine's Plug in ECU Malpassi fuel Regulator 650 In tank Denso fuel pump GReddy Profec A boost controller Hybrid Style 600x300x76 Front mount intercooler With Stainless piping K and N Podfilter Full 3 inch Stainless steel exhaust with Trust style twin dump pipe Autometer temp guage Blitz Boost guage Front Facing Plenum Strut Brace GTS import Struts and brakes Schnieder 5 Spoke 16inch rims x 4 Modena 17inch rims x 2 Sony Flip Face CD Deck Car is licenced as a RB20DET The car was dynoed about 12 months ago At 290 rwhp I would suggest that this is a little conservative and from drag racing times it probably has more like 310 rwhp It weighs 1320 kg with half a tank of fuel and full interior and spare tyre. The best time of this car is 12.55 @ 111.8 mph on 10/4/03 at the Perth motor plex Drag combat. This was with full interior and street tyres (Khumo Exctas Supra 17"). The car took out 2nd place in the rwd 6 cylinder class. It is obviously the car in the far lane. I am selling this car because for me its a completed Project and i really really want to start a new one. I have an apexi powerfc to suit rb20det (r32) and 6 550cc injects that can be negotiated with on sale or will be sold seperately. The fuel pump and FMIC are less then 1 month old. The turbo was hi flowed / rebuilt when it went on the car about 1 year ago and would have about 7000kms on it. The 25 gearbox was put in about 6 months ago with new clutch and tailshaft. The body of the car is straight but could use a touch up of paint on the boot. The interior is pretty stock but in relatively good condition. The driveline is in my mind bullet proof and could take another 100 hp easily. With slicks and the extra power it would become a very low 11 second car. Which is still very streetable. The price is $9750 negotiable, and there are things i will take out or swap to change the price if you would like. Contact me via email [email protected] Thanks for your time, This teaches me how much i have spent on the car

Screw you Sean, you beat me here too 12.555 @ 111.8 Reaction time : 0.189 60' : 2.050 330' : 5.428 660' : 8.172 1000' 10.543 At the motoplex using 235x45x17 khumo Ecatas supras at 20 psi BP U98 I was runner up to Got Boost

Drag Combat 10/04 Who wants to enter?
RB20LagWagon replied to GTS-t VSPEC's topic in Western Australia
ARHGHGGH! 7am just finished work im bulk pumped, i dont think im gonna get any sleep before hand ARHG! bulk bulk bulk pumped Hmm, i wish i had a quicker car -
What gearbox would you put behind a rb30det? Im in the process of starting a new project and ive decided its got to be drag foremost (over daily driving) it will still be a 'street car'. With this in mind ive decided on auto, can they do a jatco 4 speed which retains 4 speeds and can hold 500 rwhp. Or should i be looking at a turbo 350 with adapter plate?

*Growls protectively* OI! bart we got some 25s over here!
-
remember its only mild steel which is why it is 800, full stainless would be more expensive, mild steel isnt anywhere near as expensive as the shiny stuff especially for bends
-
Its like the strippers with clothes and only have to whip out your camera not a 20
-
get around 300 rwhp to do mid-high 12s 340-350 rwhp for high 11s. Some traction and a decent drive. Its almost that easy, many threads on how to get power out of our engines. Ive got r31 with rb20det with hi flow vg30 turbo, mines ecu 1.2 bar boost and the normal bigger fuel pumps full exhaust front mount and ive done a 12.6 at ~113 mph. With tuned ecu bigger injectors im hoping to do a low low 12

Topic says it mainly, generic enkie looking rims 7 spoke thin, can fit decent sized brakes (close to 4 potters havent tried though). I dont have any pictures sorry Asking 350 dollars with burnout tyres. Negotionable. [email protected]

Very Special Boost Controller
RB20LagWagon replied to mx83toy's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Its a little more then a bleed valve people pay ~200 for turbo smart dual stage type setups, and they are worse then just crimping the wastegate line. Instant now all your arguement has come down to is the price, not the actual ability of the boost controller to hold boost, if you wanna talk about wastes of money how much did the 'eyelids' on your car cost? -
By the time im 50 i dont think ill give a toss what my face looks like

For any of the other broken rb25s my friend has a complete long motor minus turbo but including loom that is for sale, it will be a decent price pm me for more details. Cheers Sean
