Unless you cant keep your foot buried to the floor and change gears swiftly, then mph will be a good indication of potential, of course when you get the quality run your mph will increase, but not significantly, Oftens its found that mph drops slightly when you run that perfect run due to lack of wheel spin

  9. Hey guys Drag combat is rapidly approaching for us Westerners, I was wondering if anyone who attended Willowbank Or WSID could give me a low down on how it worked. For example in the expert class its heads up racing, Do they rank you according to your best qualifing or is it just all randomly selected, making qualifing redundant. How was the organisation, was there a drivers meeting before eliminations start? Would you consider it as profession as a national (andra) meet or was it more of a street meet with eliminations. Finally does anyone know of any people coming over from the east to race at the 3rd round? Cheers Sean

  11. Big hitters? in perth i couldnt name any that would bother entering, ezy9s, is about the only 'big hitter' that will be there. In the rwd class that is, cant see many big names from the east bothering to come over. Might be any easy way to a trophy, cause ezy9 could ezily break something at the line.

  16. The rebuild/hi flow for 1300ish will be able to keep up with the cgc hi flow, its just its not ball bearing still, which adds only a little to lag.

Rumour has it that turbo tech have ball bearing balancer? maybe you wont have to send to cgc to get it high flowed as ballbearing still? to Hi flow yours in perth, with plain bearing, will cost you about 1300 bux, leaves some money to spend elsewhere in car or in life. This turbo on your set up should see around 330 rwhp on about 1 bar.
  20. VL dude, how are you going to get a 4.36 diff ratio for your borg warner diff? best thing to do is grab a pintara diff which is 4:11 and change the pinion and crown gear with your vl one. Thats about the best that your gonna get.
